So in his last five fights, Pacquiao has only fought two boxers in their prime

IMO i don't remember floyd fighting any prime fighter in his entire career. Castillo- was old pas his prime but robbed on their first fight judah- past his prime dela hoya- past his prime hatton- not on his weight class and not in his prime anymore corrales- weight drained marquez-bloated LW, past his prime and he cheated on the weigh in mosley-grandfather and way past his prime. i like floyd but he just cherry pick all the fighters that doesn't have a chance to him. there are still 34 left that are all bums, weight drained and past of his prime.

No one was calling Hatton and Cotto shot until Manny dominated them. Actually,there were big questions about both of them right after they lost. After Hatton got ko'd by Floyd,he almost got stopped again by Lazcano.His next fight was against Paulie Malignaggi, who doesn't hit hard enough to make anyone respect him. After Cotto got busted up and stopped against Margarito,many people had questions if he would be the same. He fought Michael Jennings (a sub-par opponent)for a vacant belt and still didn't look as confident,then fought Clottey in a fight that most people thought he lost.He was certainly slipping.Unofficially, Cotto has lost 3 out of his last 4 fights-2 by stoppage...sound "in prime" to you??

I cant stand People that assume when another person is at their best or not. Miguel has been in 36 fights , has 75% KO and has only been in 2 battles. He lost two the worlds best , and looked better than Clottey De la Hoya and Hatton put together. He actually won a clear round , and made 2 or 3 competitive. And u still believe he is past his prime. Pacquiao is too much to handle for many fighters. Miguel is a hard hitter/brawler. Just because his style has not been the favorite to win and he lost does not mean he is not on his prime. Cotto gave Margarito all he could handle for 6 rounds. And all of a sudden , Cottos face swells up. What is that a sign of. And he did not struggle against Clottey , why dont people understand that , Clottey doesnt let ppl hit him. I don't buy Cotto not being prime. The rest I can agree with. Hatton wasn't shot, but he wasn't fully primed anymore either. By Roach's own admission, Cotto was damaged goods.
