How would you rate Balboa in our Heavyweight era? Because I don't question his lost to Dixon, but Dixon is pretty much a light-heavyweight and still won against all his opponents pretty easily.
Are we talking Prime Balboa? (between Lang and Drago fights) or Post prime Balboa (gunn dixon)
I think prime Balboa beats everyone in the heavyweight division right now, He'd eat Hayes punches till haye punches him self out, and Haye is a little chinny, balboa would get to him.
He'd steel Wlad's heart, wear him down and either win a tough decision or KO him.
I imagine his only real challenge is vitalli, but Drago > Vitali < Balboa. I imagine balboa gets to vitali with those insane lunging punches, and eats vitalis jab straight combo all day, walks right through the punches and takes him out late, Rocky is all Chin and Heart.
Now post prime Rocky, loses a controversial split decision if the fight is in Philly.
Germany he loses on all 3 cards, even if he KO's all the above.
Tommy Gun was protected his entire career, He was all hype - Drago by severe crushing.
The Post fight of Drago version of Apollo probably takes Tommy out late. (and yes i realise he was dead, but thats how protected Tommy was)
Tomos are so delussional
Ivan Drago would KTFO Tommy Gunn in round 1. Tommy Gunn was a paper champ just like Mason Dixon was.
1. Rocky
2. Clubber
3. Drago
4. Creed
6. Gunn
7. Dixon
Yall musta forgot Tommy was takin the same shit as Drago. So we got 2 big ass honkys all roided up fighting each other. Id probably pick Drago too just because Russians are kinda scary.
rocky was ROBBED in the first creed-rocky fight. and in the second one he just finished the job..he didnt have multiple title defenses because the division was weak it was because he had f****n heart! he reminds me of arturo gatti. not the best fighter but always went toe to toe. they showed that to be great you dont need lightning fast reflexes or the top training conditions or the best trainers. you just need to belive in yourself and never quit no matter who says your good or who says you suck

Green K for ''Tomos are so delusional'' LOL!

Sorry, but I disagree with Mason ''The Line'' Dixon to be a paper champ, he was kind of like the Klitschko's, he wasn't that good, but he was the champion of a truly bad division. Rocky made him win a SPLIT decision at the age of (50?). It would be the same thing as if Mike Tyson came back of retirement and lose a split decision to one of the Klitschko's.
By the way, check the wiki article about Rocky, it's superb!!

I'm thinking undercard for Bhop vs Jones
that slick black African American was killed by a Russian stiff that had no head movement
With no professional experience to boot, granted an extensive and great amateur career, but no pro fights, fighting on foreign soil as well, probably with jet lag and Sh*t.
Creedtards, sheesh.
that slick black African American was killed by a Russian stiff that had no head movement
That Russian stiff gave Rocky permanent brain damage and fought a joking around Apollo that hadn't fought in 5 years.
Rocky got knocked the f** around by a past it joking around Creed and only won the rematch because Creed acted like a moron despite winning every damn round.
Rocky beat the sh** out of Clubber acting like a bad impersonator of Apollo, the real Apollo embarrasses Lang.
Apollo may have missed an opportunity there, after rocky lost his title to lang, creed should have jumped in and went for it, then if he couldn't get it, then train rocky... or was there a rematch clause?
It'd be a very good clash of styles, haha... Apollo might be able to pick him off, take him out later on, or maybe Lang would be too ferocious and stop him in the middle rounds. I'd say the former is a little more likely, Apollo was very resilient
Tommy Gunn vs Ivan Drago is the one I always wanted to see. Clubber would get in Apollos ass. Rocky beat Apollo by brawling and Clubber could outbrawl Rocky.

well i think
i think apollo knew exactly how to box someone with apollos brawl style, hes the one that taught rocky the game plan 2nd fight. i think if apollo trains like he did in part 2 he takes apollo and takes him good . clubber lang over ivan drago.
