Both sides must know this.
The 10 million dollar per pound penalty is because Mayweather came in over weight against Juan Manuel Marquez. He paid a 600,000 dollar fine for that.
Pacquiao has no proven history of cheating.
Mayweather, on paper, has a proven history of ethically cheating. He had a severe weigh advantage over Juan Manuel Marquez. JMM is known for his Featherweight and Lightweight battles.
the clottey fight was pacs biggest at ww so far.
but its all about pac vs the winner of floyd vs shane :D
it is.. and i believe those 3 guys are the only ones that has a chance beating one another, nobody else.
i agree he was but nobody knew that til pacquiao actually made him look like that. it wasnt pacquiaos fault he was weight drained, hasnt fought in that division in years. pacquiao just took the challenge which turned out a no challenge. from de la hoya, cotto, and clottey, i think clottey was the ultimate welter he has face for the challenge.

de la hoya was a drained zombie, he didnt fought for 7 years at 147 ffs.
he was a test for pacquiao, they just wanted to see if pac can handle big fighters in the welterweight divison.

i agree on the warm up, but dont say its a joke on pacquiaos part, if anything it's a joke on de la hoyas part. pacquiao jumped up 2 weight division just that fight, dont tell me that was a joke.

What's your point? I mentioned it for a ****ing reason, idiot. Go smoke your blunt and shut the **** up if you don't understand the connection I was trying to make. Dumbass.
Mayweather went over the contractual weight, if JMM didn't want to fight, he should've called the fight off, plain and simple. Again, he did it for the money.
Clottey blows up 10+ pounds over night before the fight. How much does Mayweather gain? Exactly.
i've been blowin on my blunt. what reason is that? how the fcuk can you say coming over weight is NOT cheating?! you're the dumbass. TS point is that mayweather did go over weight which is cheating, thats why the stipulations was set. jmm is not coward and will not back out of a fight, and you blame him for that. fcuk! SLAP YOURSELF!
just because ppl had pay to see it doesnt mean it was a big fight.
prime tyson could make a breakfest on PPV, and im sure it would outsell 90%of the fights today.
it was a none title fight, floyd used marquez has a warm up fight for something bigger.
i dont think the 2 LBS did make such a big difference anymore, especially after marquez moving up 2 weight classes anyway.
btw. i still think de la hoya vs pacquiao fight was even a bigger joke.
btw: i believe marquez was even happy to get the extra 600.000$ for getting his ass whooped.

fight night i bet floyd was around 155-160 where JMM was probably 147 or so..JMM didnt find a game plan to work around floyd shoulder movement..where in a southpaw he wouldnt do that..
did u know most of floyds opponents outweighed im on fight night?
and he still beat them :D
it was a bull crap fight especially to us on NSB but it was on PPV and people did buy it. The fight did happen and it did effect the rankings. And they both got weighed and Mayweather did pay for having a two pound advantage.

i agree. the stipulation was coz of that fight. A LOT say it's ridiculous on manny's part for asking for it but it doesnt seem so ridiculous to floyd coz floyd knows damn well he has no problem making that weight. matter fact, he never have. the stipulation benefits pacquiao so floyd will have no advantage. floyd agreed in a heart beat coz making that weight is no problem to him, especially with the penalty behind it.
it was a bullshit of a fight, just like de la hoya vs pac.
do u see any1 gives floyd credit for the victory over marquez on boxingscene???

How is going over weight cheating? Even after the official weigh in, he doesn't come in as heavy as Clottey.
The fact of the matter is, catchweights are bullshit and imposed to create some sort of fairness. I'm a fan of JMM but if he could barely make 144lbs. he really shouldn't be fighting above 140lbs.
lol! wow, ask yourself that question then slap yourself for even asking it. TS never even mentioned catch weights, and youre here bashin on him about something he didnt even mention. fcukintard
it was an important fight ... the winner would be the p4p #2
it was a bullshit of a fight, just like de la hoya vs pac.

A very unbiased thread by a very unbiased poster, NOT! It was part of both Pac and Floyd contracts to asked for their demands. As ridiculous as Pac 10 million dollars request was, he had the right to asked for it, and Floyd had the right to refused even though he didn't. Floyd asked for his request that both he and Pac should take the Olympic random drug test, Pac and team didn't refused to took it and they had no problem with it, but weeks later they came out with all kinds of excuses and wanted to set their own schedule testing, but they aren't allowed to do so because that type of testing can only be taking randomly. Both sides are to blame, but Pac and his team are more to blame since they agreed to took it and said they'd only needed 5 days to recovered.
whats ur point? there are mor than one reasons and they have changed up their agreed timelines for OST...maybe that's ducking or maybe its not...it is not cheating. Floyd has no right to demand OST in which the details were most like given to Pacquiao by Arum (who from the start wanted the fight in Dallas). He can demand it of Mosley since Mosley is a known user.
OST can favor one fighter because of the random times. Who knws if they decided on taeing blood from Pac while he is sleeping. and who knows for sure how much blood is taken. what if the tech screws up on Pac?? who knows if Mayweather does not pay off some people.
Mayweather's use of xylocaine during training is proof that he is taking PEDs. Another known fact
:sigh1:, this is the main reason why i want Floyd to beat Pacquiao if the fight ever happen, there are just too many Bandwagon Pactards out there. It's legal in Las Vegas and can be used for training only, it's only illegal if he use it during the week of an upcoming fight.
Both sides must know this.

marquez vs floyd was not a title fight as far as i know

Are you serious? I can't believe I missed that.
In boxing, wrestling, mma, karate, etc.
Being over the standard weight is cheating if the fight resumes. Unagreed weight advantage.
