Floyd should be petitioning the NSAC right now for these tests. If they adopt the testing and Pac still refuses, then we'll know who's ducking who. Otherwise, quit playin and make the fight.

Your a bit late with this topic mate, we should just try not to talk about it until negotiations happen again cause last time it took over the site and everyone got tired of it.
Nobody is afraid IMO, both are to blame for before... you can blame Floyd in a way for coming up with it and you can blame Manny in a way for rejecting it, lets just leave it at that.
If Manny thinks a simple randomized blood test is being "bullied",I would hate to see what he thinks of Floyd countering him and landing rights and left hooks on his ass!
I believe he will as well.Never before have we seen Manny upset, flustered and making so many excuses (except for the first Morales fight!).The worst part is,it was over a testing that validates these two athletes as genuine, legitimately clean fighters not exploiting advantages. I honestly don't see why Manny has created a bigger drama than needed.Even quite a few of his fans thought the 14 day cut off was beyond fair. It's pretty bad for Manny when his "die-hards" think "the enemy" in Floyd was being reasonable...now all of a sudden there exists this anti-attitude towards strict testing and Manny Pacquiao. I can not believe any other boxer would refuse this opportunity. Perhaps Manny needs to consider this as an opportunity instead of a hellish curse...

Floyd is gonna have pac extra frustrated!!

The Commision of course should mandate OSDT of course. But it's kinda' sad that it had to be that way. Pac should have just agreed..now we will always wonder about him.
Seriously, who went to the media a NUMBER of times and declared the fight off?
At the end of the day,Manny's team threw out a bunch of requests that were meant to intimidate Floyd out of taking a fight with Manny.Even during serious negotiations Manny's team was looking for several other options (which included Paulie Malignaggi).Arum had acted like a selfish and whinging bear overprotecting his cash cub and declaring the fight off many times. In fact,if you look at most of Manny's recent negotiations (eg.Cotto,Oscar, and Ricky)-the fights were called off several times.
You would have to be blind not to realize that Manny has made it very tough to try and get a fight with-and when it came to a style of fighter that can expose Manny's flaws, then the fight again, was called off many times.
The simple question is to ask-
Who demanded the most demands out of negotiations and who took a fight first when negotiations were a problem? Instead of compromising,Manny acted like a drama queen and a primadonna and signed a fight with a guy who will be remembered for stinking out the largest fight of his and Manny's career...(and wasn't deserving of a title shot after losing his last fight-another title shot)
whether or not a teaspoon of blood will weaken a human will never be answered in a clear definition...NEVER. It's medical. Everyone reacts differently. And who knows if Pacquiao was to have blood taken at 3 am while Mayweather gets his done right before bedtime.
The ten million dollar demand is justified since Mayweather has recently fought over an agreed weight of 145 against Marquez.
Mayweather has no proof to demand OST from Pacquiao.
1/10th of a milliliter of blood does not drain you
Do you even bother to read the replies? I for one, am for the test. I am frustrated that Floyd and GBP don't bother to pressure the NSAC to make it mandatory for OST carried out by their trusted company USADA, and funded by the promoters. That way, a snub by a boxer would result in suspension/banning...
...but no, instead, GBP and Floyd are content with just 'punishing' Pacquiao with the fight not happening. If they really think he's a cheater and want to clean the sport, then by all means, make an effort to make OST mandatory.
Being contented with just making it a contract stipulation means they are not interested in actually making boxing clean.
Great ****ing post!!!
There was only ever one person ducking this fight and that was Mayweather. You don't become great by proclaiming yourself great, you become great by beating the very best in whatever weight division you fight in, and you do it over and over again. Inventing your own doping rules and by insinuation accusing your opponent of cheating without even a shred of proof is bullshit. Its unsportsmanlike bulllshit and I don't see how anyone (even the most hard die-hard Floyd fan can see it as anything else). Cotto, Hatton, De La Hoya etc were all man enough to face Pacquiao without demanding some bullshit test.
It's simple. If Floyd wants to be great, he needs to act great. Beat Pacquiao fair and square and stop inventing reasons to avoid this fight.
Seriously, who went to the media a NUMBER of times and declared the fight off?
But since then, he has said "Pacquiao can forget about 50/50 if my PPV does better than his". He knows it will and he knows Pac will never go for this.
And 2nd, of course I'm concerned with Floyd's next move. I'm a former fan. I want this fight, Pac fans want this fight. He is the next logical challenge for Pac. As a Pac fan, I am not content with Pac saying he is the greatest (which he never said), I want him to prove he is the greatest. It seems like alot of Floyd fans are content with Floyd doing it, but Pac fans aren't.
Arum just said that the Floyd-Manny fight will only happen without extra drug testing. Arum knows that Floyd will never go for this.

NSAC doesn't work for Floyd, so Floyd shouldn't be trying to make the rules. Just fight or shut the **** up forvever.
I don't know how many times you need to read this, but in contracts everyone has a right to a request.Manny had his pick of ring size (in attempts for Floyd not to be as elusive in the ring),glove size (Manny believes that his choice of gloves would magnify his power-even though the requested size glove from Manny was not normal in a ww fight),an even purse split (which Floyd could have compared common opponents and PPV numbers that would have worked in Floyd's favour),and yet another thing to detour Floyd from a fight-the dirty unheard of,largest penalty in the history of the sport, penalty for being over a fraction of the weight-$10,000,000 (keep in mind,Floyd has NEVER weighed over the welter weight limit)...So with all of these demands met and catered for to Manny,it sounds like a pretty good deal to take Floyd's request that would benefit ALL members of this match. With all these demands accepted that would favour Manny only, they seem to be an attempt to detour Floyd from taking a match-when he accepted these terms,Manny had to make a big drama out of randomized blood testing to get out of the fight...
If Floyd rejected this fight because of Manny asking for too much and making outrageous contractual stipulations-would you begin to place the blame game on Manny,or would you be a hypocrite and continue to blame Floyd...????
You need some kind of insurance whether you like it or not. Mayweather cheated Marquez on the scales.
Thats kind of B.S. because if PBF weighed 148 and couldn't lose the pound Manny could always walk away from the fight. That in and of itself is insurance. Its all about the money we know that shit is not about no fvcking insurance.
I believe its a little bit of both. His reluctance shows his lack of confidence in this fight. His fans just refuse to admit it.
his fans are just too stupid and ignorant to admit it
I didn't change the subject, I was asked a question and I answered it.
My point to this whole thing is that Floyd is making it almost impossible to get this fight made. You know what I said about him being #1 is true, he doesn't want any more tough fights. Why is he asking for 60/40 split now if Shane/Floyd beats Pac/Clottey in PPV buys? Everyone knows it will, it was basically billed as a one man show with no American representation. Here's why, its another roadblock, just in case Manny changes his tune about the testing.
Ok, lets just dead the convo.
he was asking for this kind of split before...but he AGREED to 50/50.
And I love how you include "just in case Manny changes his tune about the testing." How about...instead of worrying about what Floyd's next excuse might be, worry about Manny's current one is?
^^^^this. ....
Because he has a history of making excuses for not fighting certain top ranked guys:
Cotto - "he needs to get his PPVs up"
Margarito - "nobody knows him"
Williams - "hes managed by Al Haymon"
Now - Pac won't take the tests.
Why do you believe that he is sincere? Let's be real, if Floyd gets to the top again, there is no way he's taking anymore big/risky fights. You know this.
LOL. Why he is fighting Shane now then?
