Have you lost respect for Clottey as a fighter?

To be honest yes i have lost some respect for him. I know thats his style and all that but c'mon you gotta take chances! Your fighting against arguably the best fighter in the world, why not take chances? Just leave it all in the ring. I would have rather him be KO'D trying to win, versus not trying at all. I expected more from him.:nonono:

he took 1,200 plus punches vs pac & not a scratch on him & he was standing. much respect. Its not as if he was pretending & fooling everybody he was mike tyson. He is what he is & it showed. The only people who are surprised are the ones who dont follow boxing & clottey's career. Not at all. I'm definitely disappointed in him though, because he knew he couldn't fight his usual fight and win. He just don't bring a plan B if things don't go his way. But he did the best he could and never resigned himself to just running or clinching to try to survive. I still respect him, but I don't wanna see him get any more big fights until he beats another good fighter. Standing covered up is not doing everything to win. You dont get points for that.

This is professional boxing which is the sport Clottey chose. Clottey fought exactly like he did in his sparring sessions that I saw. Taking multiple punches on the arms and gloves while rarely firing back. Even when Pacquiao was in defense mode covering up Clottey still refused to throw punches at him. No excuse for that performance but I was not surprised and predicted this would happen.

A guy who takes on all comers and creates great fights against the best the guy made a fight with pac and made a goal of coming down to 147 that was too much for him and left him in piss poor boxing shape and yall just turned your back on his ass.
