If Mayweather KO's Mosley, does he deserve P4P #1?

I'm a Pac fan more than a Mayweather fan, but for this I would vote yes. What do you think? If you accept that a KO of Mosley is superior to a Decision over Clottey, then would a Mayweather KO of Mosley be deserving of P4P #1 Status? Remember, he's still undefeated... NO, No, and No! You have to beat the man to be the man. For as good a fighter as Mosely is...which he is good...he is not pound4pound best fighter in the world at this moment. That title belongs to Pacquiao, and order for mayweather to claim that title...he has to beat Pacquiao.

Hmmm let's see, Mosley has a ROCK for a chin and Mayweather has FEATHERS in his fist -- NOPE, sorry, but there is NO WAY Mayweather KO's Mosley. In fact I predict that Mosley will BEAT Mayweather. The REAL fight is Mosley vs Pacman - now THAT will be a war, not a track meet like Mayweather vs Pacman would be....

mayweather has to beat manny, or vice-versa, for their to be a true #1 p4p. right now, it's based on who ppl like.

I don't see that happening but yeah of course he does. I think a convincing UD over Mosley makes him P4P but thats just me I guess. Like I've said before I would be very shocked if ANYONE KO's shane mosley and they would get monster props from me.

I hope not, simply because Floyd will definitely not fight Pac if he does. His objective was to take over the #1 spot without actually having to fight the #1 guy.

Yes. I don't give him credit for Hatton anymore. Too long ago. The JMM fight was not an indicator for me of his P4P status, but since he dominated and showed off his skills in a decent fight for boxing fans, I gave him P4P 2. Does he deserve P4P 1? It depends how he beats Mosely, or if. I have a feeling that Mosely hype will turn and he will look like an old man. However if he still has some of what he had in 2008, then yes Floyd will get P4P 1.
