I respect professional fighters. Mayweather is one of the best pure boxers I have ever seen.He's one of the best defensive fighters I've ever seen in the history of the sport. That's all that matters to me. I don't care what he does outside the ring because I don't know him personally or all of the details of his personal life. It doesn't affect my life one way or the other because I don't know the man and neither do you. I also don't havea aproblem with his "chice of opponents" because I understand the business aspect of boxing. If you watch boxing for "personalities" or "out of the ring" actions, you should switch your focus to TMZ or People magazine.

He's got a very good resume, just not a great one. Other than fighting Cotto and Margarito before he retired, there's not really any other fighter I desperately wanted to see him fight throughout the course of his career. That's just me of course. If he fights Mosley and then Pacquaio he'll still have a cherry-picker label on him from many fans, despite the fact that Mosley & Pacquaio are better fighters and bigger threats to him than Cotto and Margs ever were.

Someone please turn this guy red. I'm all out of red k for the day. Mayweather is the scum of boxing. He actually does have legitimately topshelf skills, which would certainly be worthwhile of admiring, if not for his shitty and scared style (post-Castillo), cherrypicking (post-Castillo), and the fact that he is a piece of absolute human waste. His obvious inferiority complex annoys the shit out of me. He's scared as shit of losing his undefeated record. He's a little sheltered bitch who knows nothing about the real world, and who surrounds himself with 'gangsta' types, not to mention his crackhead uncles and father, as well as the woman beating in which they all take part (Gayweather included). I don't understand being a professional fighter, and beating up women, although I guess when you have the IQ of a can of beans and you make a living with your fists perhaps it is your natural recourse. Fuck Gayweather, fuck his shitty fans, and fuck the Gayweather family. In a perfect world, Mosely would knock Gayweather the fuck out, and Gayweather would leave boxing for good. Of course, Gayweather is probably catching the 38 year old Old Champ, who presently hasn't fought in 15 months, at just about the right time. That said though, we have seen old vets come off of long layoffs before to put on solid performances, so I hope this will be another case of such a fight. Hopefully it will be Tszyu-Mitchell 2 instead of Tszyu-Hatton (to simplify). And I'll just go ahead and send out a nice preemtive fuck you to all of the Gayweather dicksuckers out there. i like floyd b/c he always fights his fight. he can adapt so well that nobody has yet to impose their gameplan on him and come away with a W. he is as pure a boxer as i have ever seen. one of if not the best counterpuncher ever. he is the truth.

I like his skills, I don't buy the whole he an asshole thing. I think alot of what he says in front of the camera is just to sell fights, and people buy into that shit.

Ali was a elite fighter, but I could never be a fan due to the whole Frazier thing. That's understandable. I tend to lean more towards in ring performances than out of the ring antics because I don't know these people personally. They could be child molestors for all we know, it's all a show. Plus alot of Floyd fans were fans of his FOR A LONG TIME. They have seen the battles at the lower weights, it isn't easy being a fan when he is outnumbered, especially on this board lol. His fight with Corley has to be one of my favourite fights as well. I dont understand the whole potshotting thing though, he was way more effective when he threw more combinations. Mayweather had no choice but to fight him after the Pac fight fell through.
