It is harder for Pacs detractors or flomos in other words to make excuse for all of Pacs great wins now. Cotto being weight drained is a poor excuse, as is Morales being over the hill, and all the other excuses you hear.
Pac just beats people, no matter who you are. His resume will be harder to scrutinise now. Although most sensible, unbiased people dont try to, and accept his great cv for what it is.
Phenomenal!
Clottey is a good win :lol1:
Who has he beaten?
No it was a great win. Because it is not only Clotteys name, but the manner in which he dominated him. No one has beat Clottey like that, so Pac is at least better than everyone Clottey has ever faced. Clottey also said its the first time he knew and felt he was beaten.
Clottley doesn't do much for his resume but it does give him more for his reign at WW. Clottley is a top 5 WW and a former champion. His 3 losses are all disputed and many feel he won all 3 against Elite WW (except Baldimor was never elite 2 me and he got robbed) and his fight with Pacquiao wasn't even CLOSE. .
As above. It does truck loads because how you beat someone counts. He beat Clottey like no one had ever beat him. Everything is and will be taken into consideration.
Its coming to that stage now that, the only reason people can think of for SRR being better is because he had more fights on his CV.
He won using more boxing skills, beating basically a middleweight (by fight night) and not winning on mostly just pure physical talent and fighting spirit, like when he was younger and more raw.
I think he gets at least some credit here, even for his most rabid haters.
Pacquiao's resume was already beyond repute....he was already considered an ATG......Clottey does very little for his resume

He did hit him good but Pacquiao was LETTING him hit him so he could try to get more opportunities for himself to be able to land some shots because Clottley was just standing there all night doing NOTHING but staying in that shell. He disappointed me, i really thought Clottley would TRY to do something.
