Can't say I blame him if he announces it, hes got plenty of money, had a very good career (people on here to try and discredit that, but anybody who has won a world title has had a very good career in my eyes), he has a promotional company and a family to take care of which he can concentrate on and he can also go into training in the gym hes paid for. So to be honest I can't particularly blame him, he just put on way too much weight inbetween fights and it caught up with him.
hatton-marquez or hatton-khan would be worth the ride.
Thats with a fit boxer who have respect for the sport, Not one that gets fat within two weeks of a fight, The guy is even fatter than Naz who hasnt fought for years now.
Maybe he didnt retire because he thought his fans wanted to see him fight again as well and didnt want to let them down. But now his fans are saying he should retire, he will find it easier to make the decision probably.
When you were knocked out like he was, you realize you arent invincible anymore is a good time to call it a day. If Pac man is knocked out by Clottey like that, Pac would probably retire as well.
The only reason he might fight is to go out on a win. Even then it would only be one more fight. Just make it an easy opponent like Paulie Maliggnaggi.
up and down with the weight between every fight, that wore him out just as bad as fighting itself........
i think that he should get one win before calling it a career, you know, go out on a high note, instead of a flat one.
His ridiculous habit of ballooning up between fights has finally caught up with him.
Yep, those who said it would were right. You could tell from looking a him at public appearences tha he put on much more weight after his last fight than usual.
