Well I know I wasn't in the weigh in but I will be there tomorrow for the fight. I am not going to drive 4 and a half hours there and back just to see a weigh in. I'll be at the fight too. I got a floor seat! $500 a ticket and I got it for free! Life is GOOD!

regardless of whether theres 5,000 or 50,000 there tomorrow night, NOBODY outside of Jerry Jones and Arum will ever know how many were paid tickets and how much was papered. EVERY promoter papers events to a certain degree. Sometime very little. Sometimes alot. But no event in history has had EVERY TICKET paid for. Now considering the attendance figures at big fights over the last 5 years, in my opinion doing ANY number over 20,000 paid asses in Dallas is a HUGE success, especially when a good number of people do not think it is a competitive fight. From Arum's perspective, if it does over 20,000 paid asses and over 600,000 ppv buys, then it's a home run across the board.

Exactly, everybody is comparing it to weigh-ins of Las Vages. But, if they try to compare it to weigh-in outside of Vegas. Then they will see that 1,000 people to be there watching it is pretty big... Yeah add to it that people in Vegas are already free from work. I doubt many people in Dallas would call off just to see the weigh in.

i just watched the video replay of the weigh in. The crowd looks much more than 1,000. But its not near crowd of the Cotto weigh in
