I don't know how they say that 45,000 people will be there really. The weigh in was open air too so it's not like they had a limit for how many people would be there.
Bob Arum a liar once again,
Well I know I wasn't in the weigh in but I will be there tomorrow for the fight. I am not going to drive 4 and a half hours there and back just to see a weigh in.
I'll be at the fight too. I got a floor seat! $500 a ticket and I got it for free! Life is GOOD!
So 'only' 1000 people turned up to see two men in their underwear...
OK.

you stupid... people ain't coming to dallas early for a fukkin weigh in... there ain't shit to do there...
people will come early to vegas cause there's a bunch of shit to do there...
if pac were fighting floyd or shane people would of been at that weigh in even if there is "nothing to do in dallas"!!!!! i am not a floyd lover or pac hater but a spade is a spade alot of people are not excited about this fight ...
regardless of whether theres 5,000 or 50,000 there tomorrow night, NOBODY outside of Jerry Jones and Arum will ever know how many were paid tickets and how much was papered.
EVERY promoter papers events to a certain degree. Sometime very little. Sometimes alot. But no event in history has had EVERY TICKET paid for.
Now considering the attendance figures at big fights over the last 5 years, in my opinion doing ANY number over 20,000 paid asses in Dallas is a HUGE success, especially when a good number of people do not think it is a competitive fight.
From Arum's perspective, if it does over 20,000 paid asses and over 600,000 ppv buys, then it's a home run across the board.
Do you really think that Jerry Jones is that Stupid??? Having his stadium as the next 'Madison Square Garden' for boxing has been his passion, so do you really think he would let the stadium look bad (with having small crowd) for the first ever Boxing event??

Exactly..
What are people going todo after the weigh-in? Shit, go home or go out to eat. The people who were there probably live a short distance from the stadium so it didn't matter if they went or not to them.
If Dallas had alot of things todo like in Vegas, then i'd bet there would been alot more..

Bob Arum a liar once again,
Actually, I counted it there were only 297 people including Pacquiao and Clottey. :D

i am surprised for s supposed big fight with the p4p # 1 fighter in the world this weigh in was dead !!!!!....i have always supported manny fights my wife is filipina and we have alot of filipino friends and no one is hyped up for this fight we are going to watch at a friends house but honestly it does not have the feel of a big fight .....i really do not see it doing well in ppv and arum did not even promote the fight ....i have been more excited about fights on hbo boxing after dark than this fight ..

Exactly, everybody is comparing it to weigh-ins of Las Vages. But, if they try to compare it to weigh-in outside of Vegas. Then they will see that 1,000 people to be there watching it is pretty big...
Yeah add to it that people in Vegas are already free from work. I doubt many people in Dallas would call off just to see the weigh in.

Bob Arum a liar once again,
is that why you watched the weigh in? so that count how many people attended?
My God you're pathetic

Bob Arum a liar once again,Can't you wait until tomorrow before giving stupid remarks?
Here's the crowd you are talking about. You may compare that to the crowd of the actual fight.

unlike las vegas where spectators just walk on in from their hotel rooms close by.

lol what wars?
calm down your roid rage. oops is your favourite fighter on drugs too?
Floyd's my favorite fighter. as a matter of fact he is.
oops.
Ass-u-me. You made a big one.
im sure you were. just like im sure there were people rooting for clottey at the weighin today. Just so far outnumbered by pacquiao and marquez fans that it was impossible to hear you. I remember D.L. Hughley sweatin bullets trying to hype up the crowd for floyd and the only thing you could hear was MEXICO!!! MEXICO!!!.
Just pointing out the the TS is retarded for trying to insinuate that there were no clottey fans at the weighin today.
No I wasn't in Texas rooting for Clottey. Also, I have no reason to lie to you. I just stated a fact, because I travel alot and go to big fights but if you want proof here you go
