I have Pac by clear UD maybe 7-5 or 8-4. Clottey will need to basically bring all his best rounds from the Cotto fight and sustain them over the whole 12.
One thing I know for damn sure is that tomorrow we will be seeing a lot of changes of opinions with regards to how Pacquiao would fare against Mayweather, as was the case after Floyd-JMM and then again Pac-Cotto. Whether it be that more people believe Pac would beat Mayweather or vice versa.
I think Clottey might find a c.h.i.n.k (weren't allowed to spell it out) in Manny's armour, but it will be good to see how Manny deals with a more defensively sound opponent this time and I'm excited to see his progression....dude just impresses me with new stuff every fight!
Good post..........

I was thinking.. If Cotto was able to drop Clottey in the first round. Pacquiao might be able to hurt him more. I'm gonna go with the long shot and say Pacquiao by KO.
Always had Pac since it was announced but the closer it gets the easier i think it will be for Manny, Joshua does to little and Pac is a thrashing machine
I have Pacquiao by a 12 round decision, something like 9-3. I fully see where you are coming from though, because it is hard to imagine Manny being able to stay in there for 12 rounds with a huge, defensive minded welterweight like Clottey. So while I hope you're right and think you might be on to something, officially Pac by UD.
Do you think there is a chance that Manny is overlooking Clottey?
There has been a lot of talk of Floyd and Roach has mentioned they were prepping for Mayweather. Even at the weigh in you get the sense that Pac and company think its a lock.
Clottey TKO late rounds you heard it here 1st

TBH if Hopkins can beat Oscar by being light, Clottey has a chance, although Clottey is not even HOF material I admit.
Being light and sharp is a good way to beat Pac, I can't see Clottey being big and having punch resistant win if he can't keep up and ctahc Pac.
The size difference makes me think Pac will not stand on the ropes but use the in and out darting.
Hopkins didnt beat Oscar by being light. He beat him by being "bigger". He stopped with a body shot and hurt him bad. That fight was also at a catch weight. Hopkins didnt weigh less on his own doing.
If Clottey is light he will get tired faster and risk getting KO'd.
Win or lose, Clottey better move up. Anyway, I got Pacquiao by easy U.D. I like Clottey, really do respect the dude and I am rooting for him, but I don't see him pulling this one off.
I don't think Clottey can even make it look competitive for more than 3 rounds.
First thing I thought when I saw Clottey with his shirt off was wow this guy looks skinny as hell. Hopefully he's not drained and gives it 100% tomorrow night.
Dont worry Sam he should look like this tomorrow.

So now we're trying to convince ourselves that Clottey didn't look drained? Don't get me wrong, drained or not he loses this fight, but the man looks drained.
it was the weigh in , of course he looked drained, big WW's usually do at weight in. How he looks tomorrow is what matters. You realize almost all boxers drain themselves for weigh in, 147 isn't clottey's walk around weight.
Alright, cool. :birthday:

Wasn't there something a few days ago saying that Clottey would have to come in around 150 something for the fight?
If that has been abolished then I retract my statement and Clottey should just weight his normal weight.
No there is no demand like that. Clottey trainer would like for Joshua to come in at 155 to be able light and sharp and hopefully enough speed to keep up with Pac.
When Clottey fought another speedy southpaw in Zab Judah. Clottey came in the ring at 156.
So I think they're just trying to follow that recipe of success. I don't think is going to work with Pac like it did with Judah. But, they think it will....
No like really he is. Then he blows up the next night.

His trainer said he will have Clottey at 155. Only 8 pounds more then the weigh in. And only 3 Pounds more then Hatton weighed vs. Pac.
Not smart.
