that's a buncha bullcrap. joshua clottey has been a fighting pro since 1995. that video shot by hbo showing joshua's little girl was put in for dramatic effect due to the fact that nobody believes clottey will win. That cardboard castle backdrop is nothing but CGI.
The clotteys actually live here;

whos house is really that? cuase that is the most beautiful house i have ever seen man.
LOL you seem confused brother.
So is 300K alot of money or not? :lol1:
to some people it is--to some its not but clottey will clear around that on a 1 million dollar pay out which is bollocks m8
im not confused you is
Clottey is not broke and he is certainly not rich. He is comfortable and is living a life that he can afford. The poster named Bennett i think it is, is correct about the cost of houses in third world countries compared to the US and the exchange rate. You don't have to be rich in the US to afford a mansion in ghana or any third world country. Clottey isn't making millions for his fights, this fight will be his highest paying fight and he is making a million for it. Now take into consideration that about half goes to the government, then a percentage to Arum, his trainers, chef, cutman etc. He will still come out with a good change i'm speculating around $200,000 to $250,000 after all is said and done for himself. That is definitely not broke. The man is comfortable.
I know what a barrio is and also sometimes the term is used to refer to poor neighborhoods...village part is just to poke fun...seems your dense imdazed.
Ahh, so it was to poke fun. Got it.
A barrio means neighborhood or district so I agree. And it sure doesn't look like he takes care of it. Definitely poor. The "village" part was what was confusing to me.

Pffff....you could of fooled me...I would say village was a bit extreme---I would say like a barrio would be more fitting term. But you never know he could be feeding a village nearby.

Didn't to me either. Maybe he doesn't take care of his "village?"

You mean, "I don't know what I'm talking about."
Or, "f*ck how do I avoid answering this?"
