His body shot KO loss to Hatton was surprising but not too absurd, but losing a wide decision to Lujan is bad.
I see that he is facing Alfonso Gomez this Sat and is at +220, has he really sunk that low? I haven't seen him fighting of late, anyone give me a heads up?
he has won his last 5 fights all by ko plus the resent sparring with pacquiao should help
Yeah, I haven't seen those fights but at least he is doing what he should against those guys.
If he is as shot as people say, Gomez will lite him up. It is a shame, cuz if Castillo had anything left he would handle Gomez.
Interesting fight though, Castillo's last shot.
yeah resistant,i think it will go the distance.it could turn out to be a decent scrap.gomez has actually reconstructed himself since the contender.he wasnt that lean before, and he was a come straight forward fighter.now he boxes a lot more
Thanks for the insight, I was on a hiatus when he slid apparently.
Those odds looked tasty at first, but I guess the old man is bound to lose to the lesser man.
I won't count him out zero, but my little green warriors will have to.
Dude is the definition of shot. His fight with Corrales took alot out of him, add the body shot KO from Hatton, weight cutting-not making weight, and personal problems (a divorce I believe), and you get a shot boxer.
Hahaha funny post. I'm not really sure if it was intended to be but it was funny though. Anyway, man I hate to see once-great fighters getting beaten by fighters who don't even belong in a ring with them when they were in their prime.
