Great and totally legit fight to get back in the welterweight mix if Q wins. Problem is Q most likely isn't going to beat Berto. Berto isn't liked by some, but I think he's legit, and will beat Q come April 10. Q is a lefty, so the fight will be a bit close, and some are already coming out the excuse that Q will be robbed, like how he was against another rising star in Williams. If Berto wins, I don't know how Williams will get a fight with him short of becoming a mandatory, and I believe Berto's WBC mandatory will be determined by the Collazo-Aydin winner. But, if Williams wants to fight any top guy at welter, he'll have to have a belt. He could always pick of the IBF belt, fight in a WBA vacant title fight if Floyd doesn't pay the sanctioning fee, or perhaps catch a desperate Mosley off a loss.
I don't know, first it's not like Williams and Quintana split two decisions. Williams stopped Quintana cold in the first round last time they met. Secondly, though it is possible Quintana pulls the upset(Berto had trouble with the southpaw Collazo), Quintana was also down against Feliciano in his previous bout. So even though Berto shouldn't be confused with a powerful puncher, Quintana doesn't seem to be able to take a good shot. Third, even though there has been talk, the fact that Williams might not be able to make 147 and remain strong is probable.
So don't count on this happening. To many peices to fall into place.
if collazo could beat berto like he did then quintana can also
But they have 2 different styles, Q is a pure in and out boxer, collazo does it on the inside and probly has better a chin than Q
OK; i Give you, that. But if there is unfinish bussines why he didnt gave Quintana the 3rd fight and went to fight Kolle and Phillips?
What that have to do with anything?
How and why do u give a guy a rematch afeter u spark him in 1 round, to this day thats the funniest KO ive ever seen

Verno Phillips was ranked in the top three at 154 while Quintana was pulling out of scheduled match ups on ESPN Friday Night Fights after Paul knocked him stiff, face down ass up. That's the way Quintana got fucked.
nope, i prefer p-will continue to fight middleweights or jr middleweights.
paul fighting the winner of pavlik/martinez is more intriguing than another fight with quintana, which i think would be another blowout.
Well see, I dont think Williams did prove he was better in the rematch. I think its obvious to most that Williams is better than Quintana but does that mean he's a better fighter head to head? It doesnt mean that to me. If you ask me, Quintana's win was more legit than Williams. Anyone can catch someone with a shot but he beat Williams convincgly over 12 rounds. There aint nothing flukey about that. We couldnt even argue that Williams had won. Williams didnt even argue.
I also still saw Williams have mad mad mad trouble against the Southpaw in Sergio who is probably better than Quintana but I still think Williams could have mad trouble with slick Southpaws so it wouldnt shock me at all to see Quintana roll his ass and it wouldnt shock me that if they fought 100 times that Quintana wins more than Williams. However, Quintana wouldnt beat Margarito, Winky and so on, so you would have to say that Williams is clearly better in that regard but head to head can be argued
Williams didnt KO him with one punch. It was a sound gameplan. Williams didnt do to much coming forward until he hurt him. He played counter puncher and it threw Quintana off. He countered him perfectly and Q had no answers. That was a GREAT strategy and that was on purpose. Ofcourse they aint no he was gon be KO'd so quick but Paul worked his ass off that re-match and he handled his business.
Watch this video:
This wasnt the Paul we were used to seeing. He wasnt going crazy in there. He played counter puncher and he was timing Quintana. It wasnt fluke that was the gameplan.
Who cares where CHAMPBOX has him ranked?

The only reason I have been against a rematch is that Quintana has done dick since getting erased by Williams beating Berto would be something so to me the rubber match is more appealing.
Williams needs to take the fight to Quintana if they fight again, he needs to be smart with his pressure but to me he should be able to make Quintana crack. If William's does not pressure smartly Quintana could outbox him again or if Williams is trying hard for the knock out.
100 percent true
Right now, I dont have him rank in My list, but 7-10 is about fair, top 5 no. Top 3? FUkk no.
And fukk burner and his nuthugging ass

Have a nice day.
I wouldn't mind seeing Paul smash Quintana again. Just to stop hearimg about the first fight. And I still don't think Williams has to prove that he's a better fighter than Qunitana. He proved that beyond a doubt in the rematch.
I'm not big on Williams (maybe someday I will be), but the bold is clear as day.

Sounds good to me. What do you guys think? It would also get Paul back to 147 Pounds.
