The house will be configured for a capacity of 45,000 patrons. Arum believes every seat will be sold by fight time. "Yeah, sure. We’re getting close, now. I think we’re about 5-to-6,000 away from a complete sell-out," he claimed. - Steve Kim
Pacquiao fighting in that stadium is great for boxing. If you don't agree with that then you're stupid. I just can't wait to see the theatrics that will go with the ring entrances. Its going to be crazy. I'm pumped as a mother****er for this fight! Clottey comes to fight and Pac is the most exciting fighter today. Of course, I'm more pumped for Mayweather/Mosley because its to all-time greats finally going at it. But, when I read posts dissing Pac/Clottey I don't understand. This fight will be non-stop action and unique just cause of the venue. Saturday can't come fast enough. Prediction: Pac with a 10 round stoppage.
not only does fraudulent mayweather jr. care about ppv numbers, 24/7 ratings but so do his delirious & demented fanboys.
"ohhh no they only sold 40,000 tickets. what a buncha fvcking losers"
that fraudulent son of a bitch couldnt even sell out in his own hometown.
:chairshot
When people mention Pacquiao sales they are ****ing losers? I didn't see you calling Pacquiao fans losers when they were talking about Mayweathers ticket sales vs JMM.
LOL. You really gonna believe Bob Arum?! He is a big liar. It's a selling scheme. Act like your product is selling like hot cakes and new customers will come running.
It will NEVER BE A SELL OUT. You really think people will take the time out to travel to Dallas in the middle of March?
If the rumour is true that Jerry Jones bought 25-30k tickets and there are 5-6k tickets left, then it has only sold 9-15k tickets.
it's only a rumour you have no evidence that jerry jones bought those tickets, come fight night let's see how many people will come to watch the most exciting fighter of the world.
this fight is a 1 man show, if pac can sell out 45000 seats then he is really a draw.

a lot of those tickets will get scooped up real quick. Before my car broke down, I was gonna go to the allstar game and there was quick a bit of seats left....then as the days got closer and closer that sh1t turned out to be a sellout. Same sh1t with this....I know for a fact that this will be a sellout because I tried to get my boy some tickets a few days ago and those sh!t were going quick.
There's a difference, people actually cared about the All Star Game. Here in Dallas, the All Star Game was a HUGE deal.
ehhh.....
i think they won't sell out. i'm thinking just short of a sellout maybe 35,000-40,000.
they could have sold out a stadium in san diego , los angeles , san francisco , etc.
this fight is just all wrong for dallas.
I agree with you.
40,000 is impressive regardless when you consider his opponent and the location. I'm not sure what the Filipino population is in Dallas, but it's not what it is in Cali.
Every seat will be taken no doubt, they will give them away if they have too.
Lol...I have no doubt that seats will be had for below face value. I'm not so sure the boxing media will be willing to point any of this out, but I'm nearly 100% sure fans will be watching the fight for less than the face value of their tickets.
That said, Pacquiao and Clottey won't benefit from this financially. Which, I'd guess is fine for either, but doesn't it illustrate the point that Pacquiao should have just agreed to fight Mayweather blood tests or not? That man either has the most pride of any human being ever to walk the face of this Earth or he's on PEDs.
can't they give away the remaining 60,000 seats out of their original seats.
id fly to dallas in a sec.
You can get a ticket for $50 go buy one. :lol1:

Rumor is Jerry Jones scooped away 25,000 tickets on the first day. I'd be more interested in knowing how many of those sold than in how many tickets Arum sold because from where I'm sitting Arum has sold 19-20,000 while Jones is sitting on 25,000 tickets.
