Dude, I think Cunningham is straight up a better trainer.
1) cunningham watches tape
2) cunningham has good instructions in between rounds
3) cunningham has trained more than one champion
anything else?
what you think?
poll to come.
You're right I forgot Beristain, Shields, and to a lesser degree McGirt.
Nazim is a personal opinion since I have great respect for the man and his work with the greatest old fighter in the world.
keep buddy 'hit em in the chest' mcgirt out of this. his track record is mud. i think i saw a 5-8 loss streak with him not that long ago. dude sucks
ur obviously slippin cuz you put both roach and richardson in there but no beristain. none of you fools ever heard of ricardo lopez? retired at 51-0-38.
also who has nazim had besides hopkins and hops wasntlike his project or anything

1) roach does have parkinsons
2) so you're saying kevin > roger
parkinsons has nothiing to do with it trust me
no im not im saying roger is better than kevin
Roger hasn't done shit other than train a self-trained fighter.
At this point Roger is useless to Floyd other than motivational support.
Roger's between rounds instructions are laughable.
I don't see any reason to think Roger is on the same level as Roach, Steward, Richardson.
The man is not even close.

when your a trainer there are things you look for, mistakes trainers make so its hard for u guys to see what im sayin. one ofthe best way to know this is the pad system. when i see a trainer doin pads and what hands they usin, routine, etc tells me everything.
freddy makes a lot of mistakes. i know you guys will flip cuz everyone thinks hes the best trainer and blah blab. whatever. anyway, rogers pad system is the best in the sport. remember hatton was dissin it " oo i can do that for a fort-night"? then 3 months later hes learning it. anyway i believe his system is the best and i know what im lookin at.
but its not just pad systems either as to what makes the best trainer. you got to look at guys like beristein that have so many dam champions. dude knows what hes doing. next clear indicator is what they say during the rest. most important imo. Kevin Cunninghams instruction was top notch. THAT is what you want to hear from your corner---trust me
anyway floyd is good but would be no where as good if he didnt have the trainers he has. look at whos got the better track record and how they started.
but dont gauge rogers rest instruction like you would Kevin Cunningham's cuz he knows floyd for so long he doesnt have to get super techy. those two are synced.

one more time dumb ass, where did i mention pac and roach in my post?
heres my post again
i dont see pac or roach anywhere in that. obviously you do though haha
uh... right there homo
Yea I said he is overrated not that good as you making him out to be...
How many nobodies is Roach training? Is Rashard Halloway considered a nobody? If so then Roach has taking Halloway further than what Roger has not named Floyd Jr...
Why are you keeping bringing Roach up? I guess you're trying to prove a point but Roach is an whole different level than Roger. He has more champs and Roach also has the better nobodies...
Well this isnt going anywhere...lol. Agree to dissagree.
no they don't.........you don't walk every opponent down or sit down in front of them.....jeez it's amatuer hour over here........did Floyd try to be first against JMM....no he laid traps and worked off the counters......go to another thread it is clear you are unarmed for this discussion......
floyd could've walked down jmm if he wanted to.
thats pretty fun, i had no idea that i mentioned pac or roach.
i think your head is in your ass b.c you are seeing things, must be the caca in your eyes blurring your vision
haha
look I don't know you flomos by name. you are just an amorphous blob to me.
anyways, we are talking about cunninghan and roger.
so if you don't want to talk about that... get the fukk out.
knowledge does not = the ability to excecute :D
the ability to excecute does not = the will to execute :D
You base him NOT being a good trainer off nobodies? Really? How many nobodies is Roach currently training?
Floyd Mayweather Jr already made or broke him.

I agree, I am not sold on Roger. I don't think he is that good of a trainer. I think he is a great mit guy but not that good of trainer... Floyd Sr is a better trainer than Roger also. Who else has Roger trained and made a champ of besides Floyd Jr?
Who did he built? Floyd Sr worked with Jr since he was little kid. Floyd Sr build "the best boxer on the planet" not Roger. If it was Roger why couldn't he do that with nobody else? He is one of the most overrated trainers in the history... I could of been trainer Floyd Jr in all those fights and Jr would of won them all still... Roger is a great in the mits one of the best maybe thee best in the game. But, as a trainer? Overrated...
If Roger is so good where is his other champ at?
I never said he sucked... I am just going to end this discussion cuz you're just putting words in my mouth. I will end it with this if he is that good then he would have other fighters in his resume. He trained Cornelius Lock that did not work out for him. He also trains 3 nobodies that I can't name. That is what I am basing it off... Jesse Vargas will make him or brake him IMO... Now you have a good night.
You base him NOT being a good trainer off nobodies? Really? How many nobodies is Roach currently training?
Why does he have to train a bunch of fighters to be labeld good? Thats like saying that a fighter has to move up a bunch of classes to be good.
Floyd Mayweather Jr already made or broke him. You said he couldnt get work. Where was he turned down?
So again why does he need to train a bunch of fighters to be labeled a good trainer?
"Couldnt get work"? He didnt try to. His main prority is that his Nephew is the best in the world and hes done that. He doesnt have to train other boxers.
Where did you get he couldnt get work from? Show me where Roger offered to train someone and they turned him down.
Your stance is that Roger IS NOT a good trainer. And you based that off NOT what HIS fighter has done. You base that off of GUYS that he DOESNT train. Like really?
Now if your beef is that Cuningham is better thats fine thats your opinion but saying He sucks is way off base.

i didn't say roger wasn't a good trainer, I'm saying cunningham is a better trainer
floyd was better at 130 lbs period. there was no real difference in floyd's style. when floyd's style started to suffer was when he moved up to 147 lbs. even at 140 lbs, he was still letting his hands go.
link of dirrel's analysis of AA please.
I thought dirrell got robbed against froch, but for all his "knowledge" he sure didn't win a UD over froch.
most of these people on this site think floyd wasn't a complete boxer by the roger got him.
knowledge does not = the ability to excecute :D
Pac nor Izzy Vazquez were the hottest prospect when Roach got him... Roger does not need the "hotttest prospect" but at least get a fight to contender status something that he has not do. Not even a champ just contender status. That is what I am basing it off. Your excuse was that he was focus on Floyd. OK well why couldn't he get any work when Jr was retired? Or was he retired also?
So again why does he need to train a bunch of fighters to be labeled a good trainer?
"Couldnt get work"? He didnt try to. His main prority is that his Nephew is the best in the world and hes done that. He doesnt have to train other boxers.

you do realize those instructions work in any fight
no they don't.........you don't walk every opponent down or sit down in front of them.....jeez it's amatuer hour over here........did Floyd try to be first against JMM....no he laid traps and worked off the counters......go to another thread it is clear you are unarmed for this discussion......
