Its not difficult. Its just in case he loses.
But, it does raise questions. He didnt ask for against DLH, and that fight, moving up 154 was a risk, I dont care what anyone says.
Well Mayweather was going to get a piece of De La Hoya again.
what if mosley loses? is there a rematch?
then he will probably fight Andre Berto and try to get himself back into contention. Or he might have to scrap with Paul Williams because Floyd won't face him again
cause floyd knows this is probably the toughest fight of his life (because he usually avoids them)
thats funny!! so that he can win the rematch if something goes wrong, same thing almost in the Castillo fight. he wants that Pacman money
To freeze Mosley out of a Pac fight if he loses and Pac has beaten Clottey.
Not really. I would think it would depend on the wordings on the clause. If it says "immediate" then he can prevent a Mosley/Pac fight from happening. If not, Mosley can still fight Pac and then the rematch with Floyd.
basically, a rematch is a guaranteed 20 million
if floydie lose to SSM Nobody will watch him again fighting smm he is done!! 0 is gone no more undefeated cash cow shiet!!
so many flomos on this site. lol im new and never post but i always see the same flomos.
look, if u had told us u r new here and never had sex, i would believe u.

Mosley is still a very good fighter, Roach said that he was too dangerous for Pacquiao.
he said he wants shane the grandpa mosley come down to 143 and fight pacquiao.
roachs honesty drives pactards crazy sometimes on this forum :D
Serious question. Did Floyd really ask for the rematch clause?
I remember in a video him saying "If you do it right (win) the first time why do you need a rematch?" I'm paraphrasing of course but it was something along those lines.
Because even at this stage of mosley's career floyd aren't still sure if he could win to an old past prime mosley that's why he put a rematch clause on the contract.

you only ask for rematch clauses against guys you think can beat you.
definitely correct. its not like ill say " hey im gonna whoop your azz then you will fight me again in a rematch, and im gonna whoop your azz for the second time, thats to prove that i have not been ducking you because im afraid that youll kick my butt and steal my "0". then afterwhich im going to negotiate again for a second rematch and so on and so forth because you are the best in the welterweight division second to me, the greatest of all of you. ill give you rematches over and over til you turn 50 years old, or until you dried up from the continued blood testing. forget about pacquiao, that midget, ill be the GOAt after i beat you for the umpteenth time. :boxing:

And this speaks also to the rest of the boxers in the past who asked for a rematch clause against their opponents.
