Calzaghe took big shots from Eubank and Bika. His chin is fine. His punch power decreased as his hands got ruined.
true. was probably a bit harsh on him to be honest. he had a good chin, that was rarely tested due to his skill. but he could be knocked down, even by digs that didnt really hurt him. more the shock factor rather than pain that got him caught. its true its very rare you saw him properly hurt though
calzaghe's KO ratio isnt bad at all
Calzaghe used to have better punching power back in his younger days, but then the constant hand problems meant that he won his later fights through punch volume rather then power
calzaghe is a pretty poor example. firstly his chin wasnt that great
I dunno I think Calzaghes got a pretty solid chin
I'm hestitant to say Pernell Whitaker had "crap punching power", his left hand power was decent when he loaded up on it, but he was far from a big puncher. He had a good chin and stamina.
valuev is a classic example
so little power 2 skull size/thickness ratio
calzaghe is a pretty poor example. firstly his chin wasnt that great and secondly his punch volume and accuracy made up for any perceived lack of one punch power
