Cant cut it in boxing or retired? Go to MMA
Cant cut it in the NFL or retired? Go to MMA.
Done Wresting? Go to the MMA.
Done with kickboxing? Go to the MMA
etc... Rare to see it the other way around, and if they try its on some local level type stuff, not Grand PPV events like these Former Athletes of other sports get in MMA.
anderson silva, vitor belfort, andrei arlovski to name a few have been in the boxing ring. I don't know what their records are though.
besides, boxing is only one area in MMA. MMA fighters are more well rounded (not that im saying mma is better than boxing. i like both)
that's not a real boxing match against a real professional.
that guy he's fighting is probably a bouncer who gets hit in the face as a side job.
It was his first and only pro fight lol
a pro boxer practices boxing maybe 35 hours a week.
a mma fighter practices boxing maybe 10 hours a week.
they are practicing boxing, muay thai, judo, jiu jistu, and wrestling. it take forever to master these.
it would be a mismatch. the boxer knows more about it. and how is brazillian jiu jitsu gay? the work an mma fighter puts in compared to a boxer is astonishing. some people here need to at least try the sport out before they knock it. mma fighters and boxers are all warriors.
Here you go hater

Oh im pretty sure they want to. Just to show that they can hang with boxer's or so they say. A mma fighter by the name of Diego Sanchez once claimed that he has a "Mexican Chin" and that this allowed him to be lethal in MMA. He also stated that had he been in Boxing it would have been to easy. :trink26:
The difference is that a boxer is an expert in the art of boxing which is a part of MMA so they hold that advantage in that aspect. A MMA fight would have zero advantages in a boxing ring and thus have zero chance.
Toney and Mayorga have shown they have the guts to get in the Octagon. When is a UFC guy going to do the same?
if they do come into boxing they will most probs get KTFO...
because they would rather be "complete fighters" than "limited fighters" while making significantly less money. or at least thats what mma fanatics tell me.
Dana White's got every MMA fighter by the balls with a vice grip.
Anderson Silva, the #1 P4P MMA fighter on the planet, wanted a crack at Roy Jones Jr, Dana told him to keep dreaming.
