that all he did was throw little jabs at Shane, Pacquiao and Oscar De La Hoya. He just came off as bitter instead of his usual promo super confident self.
He was stuttering, fishing for words and there was no flow or rythm to his speech. He was all over the place. The bounce and the confidence is lacking a bit. I don't know what it is, but it was weird watching it. What do you guys think?
not really. he's challenged shane will shane was in his prime. i find it hard to believe he was confident enough THEN to want the fight, and not now. :nonono:
that's b/c dummies look at 24/7's or press conference interviews, while he's promoting a fight or commenting on an upcoming fight, and assume that's the way he is in real life.
He is pretty confident and people think he is not. But when you train hard you spar hard you get hit alot. That is why he makes alot of fight look easy because he is one of the most prepared fight when he enters the ring.
As for who he is in real life. I dont really know but sometimes when you act to be someone you will end up being like the person you acted. Floyd is a good fighter and respect is work ethics which is pretty hard if you tried boxing and imagine how good his stamina is. But sometimes he should stop making some nonsense stuff and talk abit sense from time to time maybe he will have abit more fans.
he's not up against hatton or marquez thats why he s not that confident
excellent comment!!

I think Floyd ego have made him mentally ill and needs some pro help. The first time he acted cocky and villan it was an act but he acted that part so long that it is becoming him.

he was kind of the same way building up to jmm imo, and look how that turned out. maybe he'll come around a little more the next few days.
HBO's real promoting skills come out during the 24/7 series, that's where HBO sells his fights.
Word up....
I did. I guess he will be stepping it up soon. You think Shane should be playing the same game? I think it's a bad idea.
and did you see the radio interview right after? That was great, well paced and Floyd looks extremely confident...no other boxer today could do a better interview, maybe only Bernard but hes getting too nostalgic lately:P
Did you watch the interviews after the press conference? Floyd was funny as hell.

Yea, he was able to punk hoya and hatton in both presser... All in hoya face disrespecting him and punkin hatton and even grabbing hatton,s ribcage... Yea, he seems off his game some what...

I'm not talking about this having to do with the outcome of the fight. I'm just used to him being in a rythm or a bit more prepared in promotional stuff. He looked a bit childish sniping jabs at Oscar with the 10oz gloves. What was that all about? That don't help sell the fight. He must really hate Oscar, man.
Damn!! I use coupons and watch this fight for free. That's unheard of. A mega fight for free. :boxing: :boxing::boxing::boxing:
Goldenboy playing it safe thou,,, he was not counting mosley out.
