They just announce that 14,000 tickets have already been sold!!!
Damn I was trying to buy my tickets this weekend..!
I did not think they would sell this fast!!
exactly ....i was happy to hear Pac v Clottey will likely sell 40K.....shit it would be better if it sold 80K and they had to extend the stadium.....don't think of it as floyd v Pac even though these type of things can effect negotiations inn the future.....
think of it as boxing vs the rest (ie MMA)
That is the way I see it... So I don't know why look down on this ticket sells or look down on Pac-Clottey sells... Or make excuses for it... When you do that it means you're a fan of a perticular fighter than the sport...
Dude just let them have there moment... Is nothing worth arguing about I really hope they did sell 14k BTW... That would be cool...

Man for real, this fight is going to produce more black fans at a fight that boxing has seen in a while.
Wow, it might break the record set by the the Million Man March gathering held in Washington, D.C. :D
Exactly right right but is not just stupid Pac fans and Floyd haters. Is stupid Floyd fans and Pac haters that do the same thing... If they do big number both and they win the fights in impressive fashion(and no I am not talking about KO as a impressive) then the more they will make and the better chance that we see it... And, plus is good for boxing. I am happy they sold this much... No excuses on why and any real fan should be happy. Is like every Floyd fan if they are true boxing should be happy that it 40,000 and not make excuses or try not to make it as a big deal... That is they way I see it... But, some fans don't see it that way... They rather want there fighter to really outblow the other just so they can have braggin rights. Like if they get a part of the money or something. I just don't get what the big fuss is...
I totally agree with you Jro
I heard your name a while back as a great poster and unbiased and they were right bro.
I dont like them both equally but I would pay $100 to watch that fight on PPV
it has to happen
if they both win
What stupid pac fans and floyd haters dont understand is that the better the both do the more chance we have to see pac and floyd should they both win
that would be huge and it would sell out in 30 miniutes
I think you see it the way i do

14 thousand compared to 45 thousand ummmmmm yea?
Its funny when its brought up cause how many thousand tickets were sold at $50 for pac and clottey compared to mosley mayweather???
Yeah thats what I thought
you should keep it shut son
Good shit! Should be a great fight. Normally when I can't get tix in Vegas, I watch it closed circuit, most big casinos do that. Its like watching it in a theatre but with an open bar!

14,000 fans didnt buy the tickets. get that straight, golden boy got a large chunk & ticket scalpers & casinos got the rest. only about 3-4 thousand will be available straight up to the public.
Get ready to throw your hard earned cash to a boring unanimous decision.
let me guess
when pac fights it would be 14k fans buying tickets
man you are just lame
for every fight its the venue and sponsors and promoters and scalpers who buy the bulk of the tickets
it dont matter if its Manny or floyd fighting
it dont matter if its jesus versus the devil you better believe scalpers are going to get thier hands on the tickets first
Just a quick question for Pac fans and fans in general. Since it is expected that PBF vs. Mosley will outsell Pac vs. Clottey. I hear many saying you can't compare the sales of the 2 fights because its not fair. OK. Now if PBF vs. Mosley outsells De la Hoya vs. Manny what will be said as far as PBF being the draw and face of boxing? I mean PBF has already out sold Manny in the common oppenents faced. So if PBF vs. Mosley out sells Manny's highest grossing fight what negative can be said about PBF as being a draw and money maker?
Mayweather-Mosley is easily a bigger fight than Pacquiao-Clottey because nobody knows who Clottey is.
But if you're comparing the popularity of Mayweather vs Pacquiao, there really is no contest.
P.S. Let me remind you that two Americans are fighting on US soil and the other fight is between two foreigners.

Pacquiao vs Cotto were 2 foreigners too, and it still did 1.25 mil
bottomline is.. if the american audience wants to see a fight, they are gonna buy it
