Pacquiao vs Linares a 126lbs who wins?

The thing is Manny Pac just sucks in fantasy fights, that is all it is. ATG, prospects, contenders. They all can beat him... He just not a good fighter when it comes to these fantasy fights. I know you being sarcastic but its just his skills man. Last time we seen him fight a good "boxer" I had him losing the fight. I think thats what it is. The stigma that he can be out boxed will always be in the back of our heads. Thats like when the other day you asked me to name some ATG lefties he could beat around his weight class when Pac was at the lower weights and man its hard as hell to find one. Its not a hate thing its looking at styles and what both fighters bring to the table.

Pacquiao at 126 would struggle mightly against Linares--it be like a Pacquiao/JMM scenario--with Manny trying to throw freakin' bombs.

Did you even watch the video? Have you even seen Jorge fight? Jorge's mix of power, quickness, footwork, speed, leverage would have dominated Pac at featherweight. Not to mention Pac's chin wasn't what I would call the best at 126. Dominate? hahahaha wait wait this is a fantasy fight right? then i agree :D

Im a HUGE fan and supporter of Linares ever since i 1st saw him fight (whoop) on a very game Oscar Larios on an undercard some few years back.I was amazed most by his ring generalship and hand speed,stamina, i could go on forever, point being, i thought he was "the next big thing".Now im not saying he still cant live up to that because he definitely could,but lets be honest,for him to have been knocked out the way he was by some unknown fighter,please! lol, I got to reveal my secret to this thread. I originally intended for this thread just to be about Linares' highlight video. But I knew that Boxingscene doesn't respond to just a video. So, I used a hook to reel people in. So I put the title "pac vs linares 126" which pulled people in. What would have been just a 2 page thread got turned into a 10+ page thread due to intelligent advertising. You see how I do? Same way I got Hasegawa and Valero boosted up on boxingscene. lol I still think Linares would give it to Pacquiao though. The only way I think Pacquiao wins is by a 12 round epic, insta-classic brawl. Pacquiao has that ability to force people into a brawl even if that wasn't their gameplan. Otherwise I see a beatdown in Linares' favor. The match up just leans towards Linares' side, analysing the the pros and cons. Linares has much more pros at 126 than Pacquiao did. That's why it leans towards Linares' favor. Smart move with the hook. Pac was about to start his once-in-a-lifetime run starting at FW and I think a green Linares couldn't have stood in the way. It took a battle tested living legend in Morales to beat Pac by UD. All the other prospects, contenders, champs and former champs were KTFO'd. Same will happen to Linares. Pac was on an unbelievable HIGH (pardon the pun) at FW. I still like Jorge's style and I wish that he could fulfill his potential. This guy needs to go to GBP, Shaw or Arum and get more exposure. I always liked Linares. There something about his style, very educated. Reminds me of Canizales - he looks like a pure boxer/puncher. Very nice to watch and very comfortable in the ring.
