In the bowling scene, Dirrell was complaining to his entourage that they were eating burgers and fries right in front of him when all he'd had to eat that day was a protien shake. And when they were reviewing tape, Dirrell was making a point to talk about how he was distracted from the job at hand because his trainer was muching on tacos right behind him; they made him look like a dog on the floor next to the dinner table watching the humans eat all the delicious food while he hadn't eaten for days. The point of each of those scenes was that Dirrell was clearly starving himself (or at least on a very regimented diet) while in training. Well my post was partly satirical. Still I didn't get that Direll said what you mention, so I'll definetely look again. I agree with chrismart. Shaw was behaving like a dick. I hope he's nicer when the cameras are off.

I was a fan of Abraham in the ring before the show, but after seeing the show he seems a good guy out of the ring aswell. Some of the fighters Mangers / Promoters seem like dicks. I think its a great show, up there with the 24/7 series.

Showtime showed the prototypical fat yank eating famed fat yank dishes alongside his fat yank friends. To be fair this is a 50/50 fight for me. I think Direll just might be the most naturally gifted of all the super-sixers. There's just something missing in the ingredients of a great fighter and that's dedication and selfbelief. That's true, i suppose it is nice to see someone who's humble and an everyman outside of the ring. I suppose that's why I think calling him the star is a bit incorrect, in fact no-one is the star of the program (yet) which is pretty cool come to think of it. Yeah, to be honest i've never seen Green fight, so I only know his record on paper, and that loss to Miranda stands out to me. I too don't know Green too much, but he did fight miranda and lost. I recall that he had a lot of his colon taken out of his body. That shit is serious because it helps hydrate us I believe. Dirrell already has an amazing house, Jermain Taylor has a mansion, and Malignaggi drives a nice ass car. ive seen malignaggis car. he has a black benz with "magic man" written on the back dirrel and malignaggi and guys like that might not be DLH status, but im sure they live a hell of a life. pent house suites, royal treatment, girls, luxuries, etc.

Most boxers never make it to the level of Abraham, Ward, and Froch never mind the level of de la hoya or pacquiao. Compare this to HBO's 24/7: AA = Pacquiao Froch = Mayweather (though, Froch just pretend to be highly skilled) Ward = Cotto Kessler = De la Hoya can't compare Dirrell to anyone, though...
