...he just tries to steal the show in every episode...he's also the most funny guy...not saying that he's gonna beat everyone but he just owns everyone else in the entertainment sector in this series...
Bat, go back and watch those scenes again. In the bowling scene, Dirrell was complaining to his entourage that they were eating burgers and fries right in front of him when all he'd had to eat that day was a protien shake.
And when they were reviewing tape, Dirrell was making a point to talk about how he was distracted from the job at hand because his trainer was muching on tacos right behind him; they made him look like a dog on the floor next to the dinner table watching the humans eat all the delicious food while he hadn't eaten for days.
The point of each of those scenes was that Dirrell was clearly starving himself (or at least on a very regimented diet) while in training.
Well my post was partly satirical. Still I didn't get that Direll said what you mention, so I'll definetely look again.
I agree with chrismart. Shaw was behaving like a dick. I hope he's nicer when the cameras are off.
I was a fan of Abraham in the ring before the show, but after seeing the show he seems a good guy out of the ring aswell.
Some of the fighters Mangers / Promoters seem like dicks.
I think its a great show, up there with the 24/7 series.
Showtime showed the prototypical fat yank eating famed fat yank dishes alongside his fat yank friends.
To be fair this is a 50/50 fight for me. I think Direll just might be the most naturally gifted of all the super-sixers. There's just something missing in the ingredients of a great fighter and that's dedication and selfbelief. Of course Direll has only lost one fight and that was a debateable decision to a champion, so he can still prove me wrong.

That's true, i suppose it is nice to see someone who's humble and an everyman outside of the ring. I suppose that's why I think calling him the star is a bit incorrect, in fact no-one is the star of the program (yet) which is pretty cool come to think of it.
Yeah, to be honest i've never seen Green fight, so I only know his record on paper, and that loss to Miranda stands out to me.
That's nuts about his colon. you're right though it is involved in rehydration - specifically from fecal matter before it .. exits .. the body!
Green was suffering from some kind of really bad sickness when he was about to fight miranda, but he decided to fight him anyway. i forgot what it was.

Huge in what sense? cause the lanes looked hella short!
Dirrell is ****ing amazing at bowling though yeh, he can probably do it with both hands too.
I barely know anything about Green but i like him already; funny guy, confident too. Seems to be a fun guy to be around!
Can't say i agree with Abraham being the star, he comes across as quite .. simple to me. Nice but simple.
There's like 200 lanes lol.
I too don't know Green too much, but he did fight miranda and lost.
I recall that he had a lot of his colon taken out of his body. That shit is serious because it helps hydrate us I believe.
Abraham is simple but nice, but I haven't seen that many simple and nice boxers. It's refreshing because a lot are premodonna's.

Green seems to be having fun.
Dirrrell had 2 fries. He's good at bowling though. It's real hard to curve like that. How ****ing huge are bowling alleys in the US? :o
There you go with the exaggeration again.
1 hour of 12 week camp and he's not dedicated?
In every camp, you need light moments, and Showtime showed them.
Otherwise you just go crazy.
Those moments are not indicative of a whole camp.
I have AA to win it all, but don't think for a minute Dirrell isn't dedicated.

Dirrell already has an amazing house, Jermain Taylor has a mansion, and Malignaggi drives a nice ass car.
ive seen malignaggis car. he has a black benz with "magic man" written on the back
dirrel and malignaggi and guys like that might not be DLH status, but im sure they live a hell of a life. pent house suites, royal treatment, girls, luxuries, etc.
Most boxers never make it to the level of Abraham, Ward, and Froch never mind the level of de la hoya or pacquiao. Most pro boxers have other jobs beside being a part time boxer.
yea i know. i meant the abraham/ward level and obviously the DLH/mayweather level...living that life must be so nice
-money
-fame
-pussy
-royal treatment wherever you go
-people will remember you after you die/you will be a legend
-respect
-doing the BEST job in the world and getting paid for it! (fighting)
it must be an amazing life.
even someone on dirrels level (is he a millionaire?) must live an amazing life. or someone like a malignaggi (is he a millionaire too?)
makes me want to become a fighter..
Abe is a bad dude with super human strength. I have him winning the entire thing or Ward at this moment. I think that once Abraham hits any of these guys, they are going to change their gameplan to compensate for his power advantage.
Abraham
Ward
Kessler
Green
Dirrell
Froch
What I mean is that atm he looks like the a-cast (together with Froch) and the others are the b-cast (if this where a soap opera)...
Compare this to HBO's 24/7:
AA = Pacquiao
Froch = Mayweather (though, Froch just pretend to be highly skilled)
Ward = Cotto
Kessler = De la Hoya
can't compare Dirrell to anyone, though...
I wouldn't say so.They each get the same time frame.
It's just some guys have different personalities ythan others.
Even on 24/7 bth the fighters were the strs.
WTF is that comparison.
Anyway I'm backing Dirrell on pure athletics and speed.
AA style is just too laid back.
AA is a cool dude, but they all are IMO.
Taylor is too
You don't seem to understand:
Abraham is the funny foreigner...
Froch is the swaggering loud mouth...
Ward is the dedicated but shuttered kinda person...
Kessler is the good looking, smiling but inexpressive guy...

Arthur is a coll guy. He's always funny.
I wouldn't say he's the star since this is suppose to make tem all look like stars but Abraham and Froch are the funniest guys.
In the latest episode I liked everyone including Taylor and Green.
Gary Shaw on the other hand came off as a POS.

Agreed. Shaw always seems like a miserable shit.
