like if the gods assured us that Pac was clean of steroids, will the Floyd fans (and also the so-called flomos) accept that Pac is better than Floyd and credit all of his accomplishments in the ring?
I agree, the question is defective because it implies something negative and it is presumptuous.
don't get me wrong, i made that question to address the floyd fans so that when time comes and by heaven's grace pac is 100% proven clean they can think that Manny is better than their idol...
The answer i got from this thread is that Manny has to be clean and beat Floyd first... for them Floyd is the only top guy in boxing.. well i wouldn't really spend time arguing with that..
For me, nobody has swept the WW division yet... let them eat each other first.. in the end its for all of us fans anyways..
the question is defective, : "If Pac was clean.."
floyd is the biggest hyped job in boxing, hyped mostly by his own mouth. a 95+% defense boxer like floyd can never be great in boxing in the likes of SRR, Armstrong, Ali, leonard, hagler, hearns. his legacy, if ever he has one is already replete with what "would and what could" happen if he fought this and that fighter, meaning his legacy deals in fatasy fights that he could and should have fought. he may have gotten so much money out of boxing but he will have to account for it in history. he may be smarter or even the smartest in boxing and that he was able to duped many but history will catch up with him later on and it will never be kind. he will have to contend with the highest accolade he may be accorded which is the greatest fighter that never was.

dude seriously i cant believe your arguement, it is outlandish too me but i guess my crazy might be someone elses logic......

I dont like public people who keep secrets about the very job they are doing. If pacquiao agrees to a fair fight through accurate random blood testing, tests clean every time, beats floyds ass then, yes i will respect him and say the truth. that pacquiao is beeter than floyd. if he continues to keep secrets than no i will not respect him as a person, a fighter, or a man. :boxing:
Pac agreed to a fair fight by following the rules of the NSAC. You sound like you need a reason to question him like Floyd needed a reason to not fight him.
to be honest if id have it my way sugar shane would play spoiler to the other two fighters by beating floyd but chances are that wont happen although i think he has the best chance of beating floyd out of pacman and mosley (just my opinion chill out) anyways yea floyd hasnt lost yet last i checked and i firmly believe that to be the best you gotta beat the best...
I realized yeah we can only get the answer if the two of them actually fight... It will really be a big bite to the boxing community if they never fought right?
I mean i never imagined before the two can meet in the ring, Floyd retired when Manny was 3 weight classes below him...

Only if he beat Floyd. Pac has beat better fighters than Floyd has (IMO) but that doesn't mean he automatically beats Floyd.
Please explain how Zab Judah is a slick fighter? Do not confuse flashy with slickness... So give an explanation on how Judah is a slick fighter....
WTF will Judah do to Pac? After round 5 is Zab Judah questionable chin can survive that long what would you think would happen?
WTF would Gatti do to Pac? Or Manfredy? Are you serious? I would fear for Gatti health in that fight. And, for the record Floyd did not beat a prime Gatti... And, even if Gatti was prime at 130-147 Pac destroys him...
Corrales could give Pac trouble do this size but I still se Pac beating him. Is not like Corrales was a counter puncher ala JMM or had a jab ala Morales, Corrales was easy to be hit. Had great heart great toughness but did not have a granite chin... Was not the fastest fighter either... Out of all the fighters you named Corrales is the best... But, Pac could of beaten him...
Zab is the slickest fighter in history......at least for the first 3 rounds....LMAO!!!!
Somehow getting your face beat in by JMM and losing to Morales means you are better then Floyd? Lets be real here. Ill wait until post fight after Pac vs. Floyd is over.
Ts asked a simple question and u talked like a teenage girl blah blah blah its just simple yes or no..
Oscar De Le Hoya?
Noooooooooooo.... Oscar couldn't hold Barrera jockstrap... Oscar could outbox you for 8rds like he did with Tito but didn't do it for 12. Barrera would do it the whole 12rds... And, that version of Oscar really wasn't outboxing and schooling anybody... I mean I guess Mayorga but Ricardo was coming of a serious beatdown in the hands of Tito... I wouldn't say Oscar schooled Vargas either... Or Forbes... Barrera on the otherhand was outbrawling Morales, schooling the Prince, destroying Kevin Kelly, outboxing Mi vida loca Tapia... And, then after the Pac fight Barrera was still outbrawiling Morales outboxing Rocky Juarez... Barrera was very versatile... A prime Oscar was looking amateurish against a past his prime Whitaker and was getting outbrawled by an inactive Quartey. And, that was Oscar at his peak absolute best... Hell Shane outboxed and outbrawled Oscar in the first fight... He didn't have the versatility of Barrera....
JMM is a good technician... I mean if you consider Corley and Chicanito slick and I am not saying that you do but you would then consider JMM to be slick as well... Neither one of them have fougth a true slick fighter...
However, I would say that Pac fought who was very versatile. He had a jab, he could out think you, he could give you angles, he could outbox you, out brawl you, school you, and damn right make you look amateurish... Floyd has never fought a fighter as versatile as Barrera...
Oscar De Le Hoya?
Genaro Hernandez was a pretty damn good technician, Chop-chop corley was mildly slick, but really there aren't any "slick" boxers on his resume. By no means am i defending Floyd just stating some facts here.

Floyd fans will NEVER accept any kind of defeat...
..
..
..
even Floyd ends his career on a 10 losing streak, for them Floyd will forever be the greatest fighter ever..
dude your avy is ****in crucial but anyway, yeah Floyd P4P #1 at fantasy fights.

Only really really slick guy he could've fought was Johnston.
John David Jackson and Nate Campbell care about race... That is there main beef with Pac is that he has not fought an African American fighter...
And, I get the feeling sometimes that a few Floyd fans who bring that Pac has avoided slick fighters they mean African American fighters. When I point out that Floyd has never fought a slick fighter himself they quickly point out Zab Judah. Judah is flashy but not slick... There reason is cuz Zab is quick flashy black fighter it means he is slick. And, that Zab is just not a slick fighter no matter what race he is... Is a very rare minority of Floyd fans who think that way...
And, Collazo is not slick either... He is crafty but not slick....

Yeah I dont get the race shit. African-Americans aint the only boxers that can be slick. The slickest fighter alive other then Floyd is Puerto Rican for Gods sake.
Funny you said that about Collazo I just made a thread saying that. Hes not hard to hit but hes just a slippery type of guy he can make you look ugly.
No one gives a shit about race. Hes avoided slick boxers.
Hell He can fight Collazo and Id be happy.
