Seriously, its true, Marquez is the only top P4P guy that Pac actually fought. And Marquez whipped his azz twice. Close fights, Pac had his moments, but Marquez had more moments though he didn't get the wins. MAB,EM, those guys are rated highly but they were never imo, top P4P. Some of you may disagree with that but thats my opinion.
As long as Pac has been a commodity in the sport Floyd and Hopkins have sat on top of that P4P list. Pac only got there when Floyd retired and off the strength of his close call with Marquez and a truly shot ODLH.
Now I'm not about to put down any Pac opponents they fought him and got beat. But to be P4P #1, shouldn't you have to fight and beat guys at the top of that list convincingly? (at least when they are near and within your weight class) I dont have a current top 10 P4P list at hand, but I bet none of the guys Pac has fought the past 2-3 years but Marquez, is on it.
Another question: If Mayweather comes back from retirement and beats P4P #2 amd #3, doesn't that automatically makes him #1? If not, then justify why Pac is #1?
I understand but Clottey was cheating by leading with his head.
Well lucky for Baldomir.
I didn't say the DQ wasn't warranted, but it doesn't help Baldomir's case that he was getting his ass kicked, and through no action of his, Clottey lost the fight by himself, and Baldomir had nothing to do with it.
A long time ago he beat a top P4P guy named Barrera, thats before Pac was even rated. I'm saying that since he actually became a top P4P guy himself, he hasn't faced any top P4P fighters but Marquez.
You have just changed your criteria to suit your arguments. tsk tsk tsk.
:stupid::stupid::stupid::stupid:
Dude, you're hilarious. I don't even have to read what you type because the time that you'd say anything even remotely negative about Pac doesn't exist.
Every time I see the first fight I wonder where all the controversy comes from. Pac won the fight in my eyes. It was JMM who was lucky to get the draw.
that's just how I see it.

Wow, all this time and I'm arguing with a 6th grader, should of known better. Have fun at Chuckie Cheese at your next birthday party :birthday:
little kid thinks he's hard cuz he's in 7th grade
when were Cotto and Oscar KO'd (hopkins 6 years ago??). and notice how youre talking about boxers that who are NOT lightweights. cant say the same for your boys opposition.
Clearly you have no idea what youre talking about. Your credibility is shot, and youre probably FAT

Hatton, Oscar, and Cotto had all been recently KO'd when Pac fought them. What exactly does that say about Pac? Joshua Clottey will be the healthiest guy he's fought in years.

and lost to manny before that. And youre bragging about juan diaz? haha, he just lost to malignaggi. and casamayor is way past it, also shot.
Notice these are lightweights we are talking about, and some how floyd, a welterweight has a recent common opponent with them. haha. He was shot, FAT, and this thread has been proven bunk

NO he wasn't shot, he actually KO'd his previous 2 opponents....good opponents to! You ever heard of Juan Diaz and Joel Casamayor?

The haters aren't very creative. Instead of crying out loud they hate you and your topic they will say it's boring. Just like when Floyd fights and puts on a beautiful clinic every time, no matter who he's fights, that's "boring" too. Let me tell you who's boring: my ignore list (you know who you are), cheaters, seeing people who can't fight for shit on TV with undefeated records, having almost all of the boxing world united around Pacquiao. People who will call " ****ing mexican" a Phillipino on the street or to their friends and get home to make threads about how they love Pacquiao, true fans. That shit is boring.
marquez was shot when he fought floyd then, almost went to death with juan diaz? and before that manny almost ended his life. he was also FAT

Pacquaio faced 4 P4Pers in 8 fights, with a record of 6-1-1 (4 KOs). Close points loss was avenged twice by KO, draw was avenged in close fight.
What kind of topic is this?
A rubber match with a shot fighter. Rubber is a good word though, cause thats pretty much all Morales was at the time.
