Jones was always a mediocre draw. Never really caught on with the general public. Hardcore fight, and sports, fans know him but he never grew much beyond that.
This fight is already getting major media coverage.
I highly doubt it would bomb (although I kinda want it to)
Man, the average fan wouldn't know that it's a mismatch, but I don't see them buying into it.
I feel lucky... do you wanna bet?
anyone know the ppv numbers of his previous PPV fights?

what about before trinidad?
in his prime, his biggest ppv was aginst ruiz....which did like 700k(more or less)........pretty good for those times.......but he wasnt doing that good before...... between 150 and 250k's......tarver 1-2 did like 300-350....and 3 did like 400......after that, lets just say:
jcc jr vs bum>>>rjj vs bum
he did 500k vs trinidad.....but trinidad always does huge.....he did 530k vs winky.....450k vs mayorga...
250k vs calzaghe with a 24/7......what were HBO thinking?
A past prime RJJ vs a washed up Trinidad sold 500k PPV.
I wouldn't credit all that to RJ though, Jones-Calzaghe sold around 225K.
Even RJ-Ruiz sold something between 300-400K.
Jones-Hopkins is gonna bomb(100-250K).
