Jordan is a good fighter, I was impressed by his performance especially for not fighting in 17 months. Shawn did great as I expected, and I can't wait to see him after his 20-25th fights after he works out his newbie kinks. He's gonna be nasty.

I definitely think Porter needs to try and get down to 147. I was impressed at how he adjusted. He started out with no gameplan and really looked like shit. Later in the fight he started giving subtle angles and turning Jordan around, and he looked much smarter in there. Just like a young fighter figuring things out. I do think Omar Henry is a better prospect though.

Prime Venon Forrest would take a lot of guys apart. Porter is young with 12 fights against so-so op. I wouldn't dare think he's a great at this point. It's funny when guys fight better guys they start to realize their huge power early in their career, isn't gonna get them too much respect until they learn to be really smart in the ring. I think this is an awesome learning experience for Porter to help him refine his game. Agree 100% This is the perfect fight for Porter at this point in his career.

Porter is ultimately winning the rounds though. This is the guy that gave the P4P KING pacman hell in sparring sessions.......i expected more technically, he has been hurt number of times so far.

Getting wild trying to bomb Jordan out now. If he would jab in, work the body and then tie up, he would have an easy fight. But he stands in the pocket too long trying to get the KO.

BHop made the right point. You know he's not gonna punch when he bounces. If he bounces and throws shots, it would confuse the fukk out of Jordan but he never does. I think they are getting it right, though it took them some rounds to explain it. LOL. True, He has quick feet, He needs to be fighting more like a young Tyson though. A technically sound sharp shooter like Vernon Forrest (RIP) would tear him apart.
