cotto has no chance imo...foreman's size and reach advantage will be too much. foreman will box him all night

Where's the difficult style. Foreman is just average all across the board. Cotto couldn't ask for an easier title fight.

Please don't ever send me a link to this guys predictions. Thanks. :nono:
He's nothing special. My premise is based more on Cotto being diminished after too many tough fights. Ideally he would have taken a comeback fight at 154 before this match. But admittedly Cotto clearly has a huge edge in class.
I agree. I look forward to seeing how this fight plays out.
I never see him getting hit very solid. That to me makes him difficult. Obviously he's not Pernell Whitaker, but he's not an easy fight under these circumstances for Cotto.
I agree, I would not be suprised if Cotto won but there are a lot of question marks in this fight
Exactly, Cotto isn't really even a full 147lbr. I think 145 vs Pac was actually beneficial to Cotto.
Fighting against a 154lbr, who is 5'11" and is faster than Cotto is a huge ask, I actually think this is going to be a one sided fight, im betting big on foreman.
I'll go 500k on Cotto just for the fun of betting ?
I guess we will just have to wait and see. I don't see anything special in this guy.

I want Cotto to win and I do believe 2 years ago he'd knock Foreman out. And even now I think Cotto is by far Foreman's toughest test. But he was an underdog against Daniel Santos who at the time was the number 1 at 154 and he schooled Santos.. So i'm gonna say Foreman by UD
Thisa guy has it right, Foreman is the quicker, taller, rangier guy. He has got some pop too, I see Cotto doing a lot of ineffective chasing in this fight, but Foreman will cruise to a UD.
it'll be like PAvlik-Martinez in a lot of ways
people are forgetting how hard moving up in weight+having to chase your opponent around is. foreman may not have much power, but he's likely to be stronger than cotto. there's gonna be a lot of holding in this fight. that's not to cotto's advantage

i like cotto, but he's taken some MAJOR beatdowns, and although foreman isn't a KO puncher, he will be bigger and stronger.
hard night for cotto, and i can see him being forced to stay on his stool around the 10th.
he's faster on his feet than cotto and will probably have better stamina than cotto will have at jr mid and from what we've seen has a good chin. and he's like 4 inches taller with 5 inches extra reach. cotto wasn't exactly julian jackson even at 140, now he's 14 pounds north of that.
i'm not saying foreman wins this, but this fight going to be harder than people think.
I understand his advantages, Im just saying style wise, I don't see this as being difficult match-up. Now somebody like James Kirkland, that I see being a stylistic nightmare for Cotto.

Yea Cotto has never faced such a tall fighter who also fights tall. Margarito was tall but he fought short and didnt actually use his reach advantage.
I think Pinto was the tallest fighter he fought to date, from what I remember he had a long reach too. Don't remember too much of the fight , Im going to have to go back and watch it.
I really don't get where all this Foreman boxing hype came from. The dude moves but he isn't this amazing boxing. Don't get it twisted, he doesn't do anything special. Better than a journeyman but in no way world class at anything in the ring. Miguels beat bigger men before.
He has beat bigger men. You may be right this might be a fight where size and style has nothing to do with anything and the better fighter will just win.
Im rooting for Cotto. Foreman wont lay down though.

He has average skill but a difficult style......i think cotto still has it though because he did pretty good at times with Pac and is still a great fighter
He lost to the 2 best fighters in the world, so its hard to judge if a fighter is completely shot when he has only lost twice and its to the best.
Cotto has always been a super focused guy and will most likely win this fight
