i try not to...but when it's slow at work, clowning him is more fun that lurking TLN :lol1:You use him everyday as a punching bag on BS, lmao. :boxing:
Floyd is my favorite current boxer, but he's not in the top 3 of all time. I have him in the top 5, but not in the top 3.
Yes, Floyd is the greatest defensive fighter of all time.
I say this because out of all the great defensive fighters to have done the game; who was undefeated in over 30 bouts, won multiple titles, has a reputation for looking like he hasn't faught a 12 round fight after a 12 round fight, can put an entire crowd to sleep, can put an entire crowd on their feet with 1 punch, and only been downed once in their entire career? Did they even count that as a down against JCC?
You can't name anyone who meets that criteria besides Floyd.
All hate and love aside. Think with your mind for a moment. You can't honestly say anyone besides Floyd. Floyd is the greatest defensive fighter of all time.
Don't get me wrong, I love Whitaker too but he has lost fights he had no business even losing.
Here's Whitaker:

He was almost as boring as Floyd is today.

How about this:

i think pernell's D is better... but his was more flashier.. so it could be just that...
But.. i think in terms of gettin the job done they're even
James Toney is up there too
LIGHTS OUT!:boxing:
He is not the greatest Defensive fighter of all time
But I will say that he probably belongs in the top 5 of all time. Sweet Pea will probably go down as the best boxer who knew how to make people miss by avoiding punches. Floyd comes off as being a safety first fighter, much like how Roy Jone was in his prime. Being "safety first" mainly means that they wont risk fighting on the inside for fear of getting hit by something they dont see, which is why both Floyd and Roy never wasted much time learning how to fight on the inside, most of their defense was mainly creating space between themselves and their opponent while useing their handspeed to outpoint their opponents. Sweet Pea on the other hand was a genius at fighting on the inside and being able to slip, counter, lead work off the jab to get inside while also making his opponent miss and makeing them pay. So with saying that Floyd and Roy goes down as to of the greatest safety first fighters but Sweet Pea would have to go down as the greatest Defensive fighter that I have seen. And to be honest, Sweet Pea was a well rounded all around boxer who could do it all offensively. He just didnt have 1 punch knockout out power..
The one where Judah stepped on his foot?
The one where Judah nailed him on the chin and Maii did a babygiraf impersonation while touching the canvas.
BTW here's something for you and the other stans to wank over:

When you got haters constantly showing the same gifs of Mayweather getting hit...that says alot. Won't go as far as to say the grestest defensive fighter.
What gif is that? The Judah KD???

to me the top 4 with no order is Pep, Whitaker,Benitez and Mayweather. Something funny is that if Pep was fighting today, ye would probably be the most hated fighter in the sport
