...THEY ARE NOT GETTING MY MONEY, especially for this SHIT:
Manny Pacquiao (50-3-2) vs. Joshua Clottey (35-3)
Humberto Soto (50-7-2) vs. David Diaz (35-2-1)
Alfonso Gomez (21-4-2) vs. Jose Luis Castillo (60-9-1)
John Duddy (28-1) vs. Michael Medina (23-1-2)
Salvador Sanchez (18-3-2) vs. TBA
Roberto Marroquin (12-0) vs. TBA
I'll still watch (for free)...But Bob Arum is not getting one red cent from me for this Line-up!!!!
Go Clottey!!
Not that bad actually. besides it's the main event that counts and when pacquiao is fighting you know you're gonna get your money's worth. Heck I watch FNF's with unknowns fighting I would not dare miss on watching the best P4P and most exciting fighter today.

stop bullshitting... you were gonna stream the fight like the rest of us
I gotta disagree with you on this one. When there's a big fight, we all have pretty much a designated house we always throw the party at. It's usually the same fight fans but everybody knows to put up at least 5. I understand if it's someone new and you go out your way to invite them over. But if it's the homies, it's like, I provide the home and big screen, you put in on the fight.
Even when it is homies, I'd feel weird telling them to cough up dough as a guest of my house.
Maybe I was brought up different.
You come to my home, you're a guest, not a patron.
Wow, personally I think that card is pretty decent, especially in today's context.
I will be buying the fight. Pacquiao's fights are always exciting to watch.
Fukn arum is pissing me off lately. I'm buying to support clottey and PAC but arum is an old piece of shi t. He is ruining bonitos career, constantly anoint yuri boreman down and Alfonso gomez down our throats with his crap undercards. On top of that he's allegedy blocking valero Bradley and talking about margs v PAC. He is really fing up boxing right now.
Duddy's sorry ass too.
So whatz your alternative?? The Golden Fagget Show?? Or The Kenducky Fraud Chicken Show?

Go Clottey!!
This is what your getting:
- A guaranteed a Action packed Fight between the most entertaining fighter we had in aWhile against the most granite Chinned opponent for him in Pac-Clottey.
-The 1st Big fight in the Newest & Biggest Stadium & the Biggest TV screen in Cowboy Stadium. This will be a spectacle in itself.
-A Brawl between 2 Brawlers in Castillo & Gomez to entertain us as appetizer.
-Soto's Power will be tested against a Tough David Diaz. The Mexicans will be entertained by their own Fighters.
- John Duddy might not be elite, but he's a Blood & guts warrior. I used to like him. Not bad action while I'm gulping my 1st beer & My dinner is being served. This is for white people to be interested in one of their own.
Now what will Floyd Brings??? A good 24/7 series? A Boring running fight? That's what i'm going to watch. I already have HBO, I'll enjoy 24/7 & the replay. No money for you Floyd...No to Floyd PPV for me...

Making people pay to come to your house to watch a fight? Thats pure ghetto shit right there.
The only time I've ever had to do that,
was with this hoodrat dude I used to buy weed from. I chose not to go and saw the fight elsewhere.
In my experience, the owner of house hosts the party, including paying for the fight. Everyone else either brings food or drink.
I don't know, but thats just weird to me.
"Hey guys, come over to watch the fight, but make sure you have your tickets".
I could not imagine having people over and asking them before they fight starts, "you got the money?"
:haha: Thats gold, not every1s packing tortillas
I don't get why anybody in their right mind gets a PPV on their own. Watch with your crew and chip in small amounts each, or use a stream if you get stuck by yourself. Under no circumstances do I shell out $50 for any PPV no matter who's on it. It's less fun watching solo, and if you got company cut up the cost between you.

Just wondering how a never has been in Gomez versus a washed up guy is an interesting fight to you?
As for the card, it is a slap in the face to fans or anyone that is showing any interest in the sport. Instead of promoting real talent they give us bum versus bum. Even if the card was decent, I wouldn't buy it because I look at PPV as the very pinnacle of the sport and a second tier fighter like Clottey, who is well rounded but doesn't do anything special should never be main eventing a PPV. I will stream the fight or download it the next day.
This pretty much sums up my attitude on this. Plus this isn't even a intriguing fight style wise. Just because one guy is going to get punched a lot and remain on his feet doesn't mean its an interesting or entertaining fight. Even the Floyd-Marquez fight was more intriguing because we didn't know what floyd was going to show up in the ring. We already know what Pac does to flat footed stationary fighters... not to mention as the quote says above "second tier" fighter which Clottey is.
not only am I buying this card I actually think its not really as bad as people thinks
while it may not have pertinence he Gomez Castillo fight could be all out action as both do not back down from anyone and will keep throwing
Diaz vs Soto could be better than at first glance because Soto is venturing up to 135 and Diaz, while a 135lb fighter, has also fought at 140lbs comfortable so it could be interesting to see if Soto can handle the size issues
Duddy is doo doo I will admit

LOL..
I think i'm the only interested in Soto vs Diaz..
Nah I am too. This undercard is pretty decent in my opinion.
For an undercard I don't care about names or status, just good fights to keep me going until the main event (which generally starts at roughly 4AM here in England). And I think Castillo-Gomez and Soto-Diaz will be fun fights.
Its sad to see Castillo get ready to become a journeyman in less than a month...Its time for him to hang up the gloves.
But the card isn't THAT bad...Its better than the crap on the Pacquiao-Cotto card (JCC Jr needs to disappear). It has some fairly good names like Soto, Diaz and Castillo.
I do agree that Mayweather-Mosley's card will pass it though. GBP never disappoints me on its huge cards.

Man, these guys are idiots. Even if you don't have an agenda against Pacquiao, they'll take it that way (as some already have).
They are too dumb to realize that we're not supposed to feed these greedy assholes when they serve up this type of garbage.
Other than Soto, all of those fighters are destined to fringe contender/journeyman status. We keep buying this shit and the geezer will keep giving it to us.
