This is my take on the whole Margarito Issue...

If those wraps are so-called loaded, why is he celebrating his victory with them still on for the whole world to see? :thinking: I'm not an expert but wouldn't you want to get rid of them as soon as possible? I Guess Your RIGHT!

what I want to know is why cotto didn't have someone watching margs get his hands wrapped. they weren't fighting for play money. Cotto's Uncle Was In The Undercard In Some One elses corner, thats why he didnt check the raps, and not for nothing witch fight is bigger cotto or SSM? In margs career?

I know most of you want Margarito to die in hell for what happend on Jan 24, 2009. I'm sickend that most Cotto fans don't want to man up and admitt that Marg was the better fighter that night. You know who you are!! Last week I got in an argument with another Marg fan about the wrap incident. I honestly don't think that Marg used the wraps for Cotto bout or any fight pre Mosley. What I do know (and this came from Marg's himself) is that he was weight drained and didn't take this fight serious. I think that Marg knew what was going down that night vs Mosley. i don't know if margo used plaster against cotto or not, but I do know that there is no evidence proving it

To me Margarito, got busted and did his time, don't really like him or dislike him. He won't do anything like that again becuuse he will be watched carefully. I don't mind if he gets license back but I question if he'll ever contend again.

The picture of Margarito was right after the Cotto fight. The wraps in question from prior to the Mosley fight had similar red marks in a similar position. That is one reason why some believe it wasn't a one time thing. yeah I agree but when a picture of corrales from the first castillo fight comes out it kind of threw everything out the window using that basis right?

according to Margarito's manager someone was there for the wrapping and that Cotto is lying. He may not have been aware because he might have assumed since Evangalista was in his dressing room no one went but yes someone was there and I asked someone else not associated with Margarito and they said they were pretty sure a rep for Cotto was there witnessing the wrapping good scoop here eaner, it's what I've been asking forever.

see and thats 1 other thing... i myself had that happend to me... now am only speakin about in amatuer bouts thats only 3 rounds of 1 min each..... had brused knuckles...they bleeded a lil bit.. now think about a 12 round fight!!! over and over.... i seen pro boxers had the same shit.. its not because 'ohh its plaster they why his knuckles r bleedin' nahhh actually go and look a pro fight and look at there hands! My opinion on Margarito: This is a mans sport and he cheated or attempted to cheat. In my eyes he is garbage and doesn't deserve SH!T much less a second chance. He is trash, just as low as Resto. So motherFOK margarito and I hope every single event he is on flops so I don't have to see that POS anymore... AND IF FOR ANY REASON, PAC is found that he cheated, I will think of him the same way. This sport is dangerous enough as it is and I don't need to see people putting others life at risk like this. So what do you think of Mosley?

Until he fights again and proves he can beat elite competition without cheating, all of Margarito's wins are going to be tainted. I agree with this as well as TS. I think Marg beats Cotto 9/10 and doubt Marg could have gotten away with it so often before the Mosley fight. I also think that we'll know for sure if he continues to win in the same fashion, if something is missing in his punches then we will know what.

Didn't HBO show Margarito's hands with the wraps after the Cotto fight. Didn't they show the same red hard gauze on his wraps after the Cotto fight.
