Wasn't he goin to make the same with PAC which was a higher magnitude of a fight? Didn't Floyd Also once say Shane wasn't a draw and there was no money in that fight? Is he admiting he chats a load of drivel?
NO
maybe like 10 to 15 at most. SSM aint really a draw. PBF couldnt even sell out MGM against JMM and it was a mexican holiday
JMM couldn't sell out a local parks And rec center. That's why he fought Diaz in Houston and John in Indonesia. Floyd vs JMM was a sell out. The live gate was alot more than Pac vs Jmm 1 or 2. Ringside to Floyd vs Jmm tickets where $1000 ringside to Pac vs JMM 1 $300 ringside to Pac vs Jmm 2 $600. There is no comparison.
I don't know about $40 mil it depends on the Ppv buys
I was about to post a calculation but this is a good one. Finally someone using a bit of common sense and so showing Floyd is likely making $40M.
That's just my prediction for the PPV but I have a feeling it might be even over 1.5 million. This will be the biggest PPV since DLH Vs. Mayweather, there will be no denying after this that Mayweather is a huge draw.
1.5 million buys X 54.99 = 82,485,000. 40% of that goes to the cable companies $32,994,000. whats left $49,491,000. Gate should be around $10 million.
$59,491,000. plus international television and the HBO and undercard pay is more then enough for both guys to make career high paydays.

Floyd could be making 40 million when its all said and done
Once all the Pay per views are counted. From another interview that I read of Shane, he said he was getting $15 million guaranteed and a small percentage of the pay per view sales. I always viewed this fight being around a $35-40 million dollar fight. So if Shane is getting $15 mil gauranteed, Im sure Floyd will be geting 20-25 million gauranteed with the large majority share of the pay per view sales.
I think he gets 40 mil because he gets a fighter's minimum fee (which is probably between 20-25 mil), his promotional company is co-promoting the event(more money), and he is getting a percentage of the pay-per-view. Mosley ended up getting a flat rate fee instead of a percentage i.e (70-30, 65-35). Say what u want about Floyd but u can't say he aint a smart businessman. He takes the less punishment in the sport and makes the most money.
