Who in the Super Six could beat a prime Joe Calzaghe?

i expected calzaghe to be much more appreciated once he had been retired a while,good to see

I think Ward has the best chance followed by Dirrell and then AA, who I think would probably need to KO Calzaghe because of Joe's mad workrate and I would like to see how Joe would take AA's punches cos I see him going down most definitely, however, AA would be best served to try and catch him early like Roy and B Hop did.

Joe would've beat them all. Especially Froch and Abraham, he would've landed at will with those two. I'd give Ward a decent chance but he loose too.

And people forget, Calzaghe gave Ward's team the blueprint in beating Kessler (Ward's trainer said he watched the tape hundreds of times), fighting close or out of range is Kessler's weakness, once Calzaghe found that out round 5-6 he dominated nearly as much as Ward did in their fight.

Carl Froch would be a decent fight but Calzaghe will find his way around Carl's awkward style and lunging punches and win a wide UD. Arthur Abraham is strong as hell but slow on his feet, Calzaghe would turn him all night (like Williams-Wright). Andre Dirrell is a good, fast fighter but if Froch can come close to beating him on points (I think Dirrell won) then Calzaghe who is much faster, a much better boxer with better workrate and adaptibility would win. Andre Ward presents Calzaghe with some troubles but I think he'd work his way around it, remember Kessler refused to use dirty tactics back while Calzaghe is a veteran who is not afraid to use rough tactics. Mikkel Kessler, already seen it. Allan Green would get out boxed all night.

Maybe Ward. I haven't seen enough of him against top quality opposition yet though so the verdict's still out. I've always thought a prime Taylor would give Joe some problems too. taylor at his best would give him some problems but unless JT knocked him out i think calzaghes work-rate alone would win him the fight,taylor would be gassed with the non-stop punches

No one but Carl Froch. Carl Froch is the only guy who can beat Calzaghe. Calzaghe wins his fights because of his work rate and his high pain threshold. Froch is the same type of guy but punches with proper form. Proper form = more damage caused. Carl Froch would beat Calzaghe. probably none, possibly ward by decision. in my opinion the king can crack anyones chin between 160 and 168 so assuming this is at smw i think zags would tread softly around the minefield that is arthur abraham. in the end i think joes movement and endless slaps will carry the day against them all. the man never gets any credit for moving like he did at his age.
