On one hand you have pac, who is seemingly unstoppable right now, coming of an excellent victory against cotto, who clottey struggled with, not only that clottey isn't really great on the footwork and stamina n will probably struggle to keep up with manny, let's face it most ppl have put clottey to lose as soon as this fight was made...
And then there's mayweather who is arguably the greatest technical boxer of our time, just whooped jmm (disregard the size!) and is still riding the invincible wave having not lost, up against, some would say, an older mosley who may have ring rust...we know mayweather doesn't take risks (much) so he must be 110% certain this is gonna b easy...
So, what would be the bigger upset if Pac or Mayweather lost??
I think Mayweather losing would be a bigger upset because of his style and also becuase he is undefeated. I really beleive there is a bigger chance for Pacquiao to get hurt because he leaves himself open more trying to go for the KO. Clottey was hurting Cotto but let him off easy and spent way too much time bitching about fouls.
A lot of people voting for Pacquiao are proabably only doing it because they are the same ones who are saying the fight is not even competitive. Don't even lie guys, it would be a bigger shocker if Mayweather were to lose especially by KO.

I think Mayweather winning over Mosley is an upset. If he won by a TKO/KO that is extra ordinary....And no one becomes extra ordinary over the age of 30 :sad6:"per Floyd"
This is a no-brainer...Anyone who chose Mayweather (including Floyd fans) obviously didn't think it out. Mayweather is fighting Mosley, who physically has every advantage needed to beat Floyd. He also has skill, speed, power and experience. I would not be surprised at all if Mosley beat him, even though my money's on Money winning by 116-112 or 115-113 decision.
Pacquiao on the other hand is fighting an opponent who is tailor made for him. Every single opponent Pac fought was physically bigger than him, and neither won more than
a round or like 1:30 of a round if you count Hatton, so count size out. Style wise its an easy fight for Pac. Clottey will never in a million years beat him on points. Whether they're fighting from the distance or on the inside, Pac has the advantage. Just look at how defenseless Clottey was against a shot, punch drunk Zab Judah before he gased out. Judah had no punch resistance and tends to stop throwing punches after round 5 or when he's hurt, so imagine what someone who can do that for like 15 rounds and has punch resistance would do. Admit it, Clottey has nothing in his arsenal to stop Pac. Please, somebody prove me wrong because I wish I was...
So if Pacquiao loses to a tailor made opponent, that would be a MUCH bigger upset than Mayweather losing to a worthy opponent. And don't forget, Floyd has a rematch clause to redeem himself if he loses.
I honestly think Pacquiao losing would be a much bigger upset.
Shane Mosley is a world class opponent, and an elite Welter weight.
Clottey's a good Welter, but not elite.
Pacquiao has shown that he belongs at Welterweight, and if you aren't surprised if he loses to Clottey I'd say that you are still holding Pacquiao to very low standards.
I can only see Clottey winning by KO. I hate to throw around the term "rigged", but honestly if the fight with Clottey has a slight edge against Pacquiao in that fight, I don't see him coming out with a victory. They aren't gonna let Clottey potentially ruin Pacquiao vs Mayweather.
Same thing goes for Mosley, but to a lesser extent, because Mosley is still a big name
If Pacman lost to the low output Clottey that would be a bigger upset to me!!I really believe that Mosley is gonna beat Floyd badly!!:boxing:
So you believe that Floyd beating Shane would be an upset in your opinion (since you really believe Shane is gonna "beat Floyd badly")?
I don't reckon one will be a bigger upset then the other.
Mosley best chance of winning is by tko/ko, hes not going to out box Flolyd, he been off for too long and hasn't looked great for a long time, his win over Margarito was against a punch bag.
Like Mosley, Clottey won't outbox Manny he'll try and walk him down and best chance of victory is tko/ko.
Cotto was supposivley Mannys best win, however at this moment time I regard Clottey better then Cotto, so too me if Manny wins this will be his best win.
I suppose the biggest shock would be Mosley or Clottey winning by decision.
Clottey beating Pac would def be the bigger upset..........look at the betting odds.....
Everyone on BS needs to step back, take a deep breath and realise it is SSM that Floyd is fighting......seriously i don't know why any1 would be suprised if Shane pulled it off..............people on here need to stop disrespecting Shane like he is a B level opponent!!!!!!!!!!

Even though Mayweather is undefeated, and it's hard for me to see him losing to anyone right now. He is going up against an opponent that is rated in everyone's top 10 P4P fighters in the world. Now Pac is facing an opponent who is in the top 10 WW out right now, but no where near the P4P list. Clottey is also a fighter who stands in front of his opponent a lot, and at times forgets he's supposed to throw punches. So I would have to say that if Clottey wins it would be a much bigger upset in my book.
The bigger upset is Manny Pacquiao. Mosley-Mayweather is a pickem fight to me; that could go either way. Pacquiao on the other hand is the overwhelming favorite heading into his fight with Clottey; where the majority of boxing fans don't feel Clottey stands much of a chance. For him to lose to Clottey would be the equivalent of Thomas Hearns losing to Iran Barkley back in 88... It be the upset of the year if Clottey could pull it off.
It's a no brainer Clottley beating Pacquiao would be a much of a shocker. don't understand how people can say Mosley beating Mayweather would be a shock.
if floyd fighting calderon and calderon defeats him, then it will be very huge upset...
but shane mosley "upseting" floyd?... "upset" should not be used because it is likely to happen if floyd will not inject xylocaine...
pac losing to clottey is definitely a huge upset....
Ok..when Tarver knocked out roy..I was so hurt..I grew up with ROY killing everyone and always thought he could never lose..he was my hero and when he lost it was hard (mainly because I was at a fight party running my mouth)...Being a Floyd fan, I just think he can't lose..So if he were brutally knocked out I would be in shock!
