i know alot of people on here dont rate him or think he is over rated but have you ever seen his fights like last week wit demarco its like he gets hit and doesnt even care like unphased like all his fight basically that happens. what will the people say when he does that to marquez or juan diaz?? is he just hype or is he a monster?
what really amazes me is how a two-time world champion now a days are still unproven!
what does a fighter really have to do to get his due credit?
imho, probably in Japan, Valero is considered one of the best fighters p4p...
I hear that brotha!
I guess most folks didn't even see after Valero got that cut on his head, he pretty much put on a boxing clinic...
Now I remember the commentator saying that Valero coming up was known for his boxing skills, and fast hands...That he flowed like water. That's what people said about him. Then he started knocking people out, and he changed. Started going for only KO's.
After he got that cut, the man shows that he know how to box very well.
@ Reasons: I don't think just a "boxer with good D" will beat him. He has shown he can also be that.
I wasn't to impressed in the first two rounds, but by the end of the fight (Demarco fight), I was a fan. I look forward to him fighting the top guys.

so a good boxer wont get tru but in boxing you can stand and fight not dance around and try not to get hit the whole fight so one point in the fight that "boxer" is going to have to stand and plant his feet.. and wit his ko record its like a 50% chance they will get ktfo
lol i feel you on the margarito tip.. but valero will trade no just act like a walkin speedbag... what go my props was that ****in gash upside his head and the cut under and on top the right eye he still was the agresser.
Yeah, he impressed me a lot with fighting the way he did with that gash and cut on his eye. He's got a beast in him, and he looked a lot more skillful than I expected. Can't really complain. :boxing:
I really want to see how well he does against higher opposition.

hes a wrecking machine imo
i dont think a boxer with just good defense will beat him cause like in his last fight wit demarco who was never stopped before he just couldnt take the pressure. like marquez couldnt manage cause he likes to box and trade and to me would get knocked out... juan diaz forget thats easy pickings... to me the bradley fight is most intresting cause he can box like 15 rounds and has good defense

He looked good, but DeMarco isn't anything special. In the grand scheme of things, both of them are still pretty low tier, but Valero has found a lot of attention for some reason. I'd call it hype, but I'm a bit hyped for him myself, so who am I to talk?
Also, all those unphased punches catch up to you mighty quick. Ask Margarito. :)
