Mab was not supposed to lose that fight Pacquiao was an opponent they had no clue what they were in for. That is also the way I seem to remember the situation.

Chavez would be fighting at a weight-class that he wouldn't of made in years.... While the Barrera version that fought would be a P4P level fighter but a blown up featherweight... But, I would still pick that version of Barrera... Now the Morales version that fought Pac would be at a comfortable weight at 135 however he was never good at 135... He shot by the time he got there... So Morales would be shot against Chavez... However, even though Morales got beat by Raheem, Chvez don't really fight like Raheem and especially a weak drained Chavez... I would also point out that Morales gave David Diaz a hell of a fight... I know Diaz was not that good. But, he is/was a strong lightweight who KO'd a top 10 fighter in Santa Cruz, who later on got robbed in a fight against Casamayor... I am debating in my head right now that if that Diaz a natural lightweight, who fought as high as 140 against Kendall Holt, is better then weakened, weight drained version of Chavez that fought Oscar.... And, I would say yes... And, that version that fought Oscar was on the downside and would be fighting a weight-class he has not made in years... I would pick that version of Morales to beat that version of Chavez also at 135

IMHO Pac's best career victory is still over MAB who after that loss beat Erik on their 3rd fight, unified SFW and if not for the 4 point swing round versus Marquez, could have won that fight .... sometimes people are forgetting It is a fact that Eric beat PAC on their first fight less than a year before their rematch... both wins Legitimate as they come!
