the light welter division is packed at the mo and since valero seems to be moving up it adds another top name to the bunch.
my six would be
1:Tim Bradley
2: Amir Khan
3: Ricky Hatton
4: Winner of Devon vs Urango
5: Marquez
6: Paulie
the last spot could go to Valero but since he hasnt fought at lww yet i wont put him there
lol.. cuz u can tell thru a computer screen?
i say fukk all the time, and i write it all the time too, its just the way i speak. and if something is bullshit u can point that out aswell without being least bit heated.
i dont get "pissy" cuz ppl disagree with me, i just think its weird not a single person mentioned him but they are putting guys like urango, maidana and valero in there.. just doesnt make sense.
it makes me sad if anything someone like casamayor doesnt get the props he deserves, but nothing on the internet ever gets me mad. im more like this -> :pat:
Hah, fair enough.
you have good points, don't get me wrong, but honestly? if this tourney was made I would prefer someone else ins Casamayors place, dunno why, but i'd just prefer someone else.
Look at the discussion and entertainment Dirrell and Ward gave us in the SMW super 6, for example. I think a tourney like this would definitely benefit from some young guys.
??????????????????????
WHAAAA?
more than hatton @ 140??????
hahahahahahhahaha
he fought 1 time @ 140
no way he can win anything @ 140
plus hes like 40 now
i meant in general, not in the 140lb division. when i wrote 140 i meant saying casamayor did more than anybody else currently fighting at 140, not that he did more at 140. get it?
i thought that was obvious since he like u say only fought once at 140, then again alot of ppl lack common sense.. :pat:
oh this is such bullshit.
casamayor has a way stronger legacy than anybody else at 140, including hatton.
his last loss was to juan manuel fukking marquez, and it was very competetive to say the least. u could very well have had him up on points when it was stopped.
u ppl put guys like maidana, ortiz and valero over casamayor?
and nobody other than myself even mentioned el cepillo yet.. fukking bullshit..
Hasnt casamayor fought once at 140? I honestly think the six i mentioned maybe more deserve a spot if there was a super six 140
You don't seem very settled to me, usually when I see people dropping the F-bomb and claiming things are bullshit they're at least a little heated, and it's quite evident you are haha.
Here's my excuse for not putting him in: it's a fantasy thread based on opinions.
I can put whoever i want in my list, you don't need to get all pissy cause people don't agree with your opinion, however well you back it up.

i am settled down. not including casamayor is fukking bullshit so i wrote its fukking bullshit.. but its not like im gettin all upset about it.
casamyor just deserves to be in there, theres no excuse u can make..
hes only fought at 140 once.. valero never fought at 140 at all.
hes past his prime.. hatton.. enough said.
he lost his last big fight.. hatton.. enough said
hes old.. campbell..
truth is casamyor has more credentials than anyone at 140, and should be a favourite over anyone at the weight except for bradley and maybe campbell (who casa beat once).

Whoah man, settle down like, it's a fantasy thread.
I like Bradley and would like to see him up against these guys - i'd love him to step up and get his resume on the go. Same goes for Valero, and i was kinda joking ...
Khan has fast hands but a pathetic chin, so you can guarantee a good fight (to be fair i hate the guy so would like to see him in with some better opponents than we've seen him in there with).
JMM is a favorite of mine and stylistically I think he'd make some great fights.
Urango/alexander winner out of curiosity as i haven't seen a great deal of these two, but it'd be cool to get another couple of belts in the mix.
Hatton i'd be interested in to see what else he can do at this stage.
Maidana is a wildcard, he's fun to watch and he'd make for some good fights with any of the others, win or lose.
finally, Pacman was kinda a joke ..

?????????????????????????????????? you on crack dude? casamayor has fought 1 fight in his entire career at 140 and he is 38 years old.
valero hasnt even fought at 140 once and ppl are including him.
who cares how old he is? hes still amongst the best fighters in the division, his credentials speak for themselfs.
how many fighters can u make a case would beat casamyor at 140? bradley, maybe campbell (who casa already beat) and thats it. guys like khan, maidana and alexander hasnt fought anybody that would make u pick them over casamayor.

theres too many good boxers in this division they should have a super 10
1.Edwin Valero
2.Timothy Bradley
3.Amir Khan
4.Victor Ortiz
5.marcos maidana
6.Paulie Malignaggi
7.Juan Urango
8.Devon Alexander
9.Nate Campbell
10.Ricky Hatton
Theres also over a dozen undefeated dudes, nobody ever heard of.
Bradley
Khan
JMM
Urango/Alexander winner
Pacquiao moves down, and valero moves up to join the comp :D
If it were an 8 man tourney: addin Hatton and Maidana.

I wouldn't put Hatton in because of cost and to me he needs time to really get back into the swing of boxing, jumping straight away into something like this would be harsh. Now it is possible to change out the loser of Urango-Alexander but both guys are fairly proven so even with the loss the loser is still qualified (aslong as the loser does not get destroyed). Also if Khan loses to JMM throw JMM in there instead.
i think paulie has good boxing skills and deserves the spot more then maidana which is my opinion but like i said the division is close and marcos win over ortiz doesnt mean that much
