Seriously you do yourself a big diservice by maintaining this fight was close......it just simply was not. Some ODLH fans even screamed robbery. As if PBF could rob the biggest drawcard in boxing and the man whose promotional company ran the event.......that is the only reason Oscar got a face saving split.....the fight was a UD all the way......
Floyd won a minimum of 5 of the first 7 rds.......the first time i watched it i had Floyd winning 6 of the first 7........the second time it was 5 of the first seven........there was only 2 rds u could score to ODL in the first 7 rds......how caould this fight even be close if Floyd won 5 of the first 7 rds and and rds 8,9 and 10 in a landslide...........????
Seriously pasawayako.....go watch the fight again in the next few days with a clear and unbiased mind.....the crowd were screaming at ODLH punches that missed by a foot......watch it carefully....you might even pick up on periods where all delahoya did was follow and look at Floyd for a minute and a half in the middle of a round......
i'll watch it again when i'm free. really u have floyd ahead of 5 rounds for the first 7 rounds? All i remember was floyd was just pot shoting from time to time and was having a hard time against oscar jab it was after round 8 for some reason oscar stop throwing his jab and thats the time that floyd take over the fight.
as i remember i have oscar ahead by 5 rounds to 3 after round 8 against floyd.

i have to say floyd-oscar is alot closer than cotto-shane. i even think oscar edges floyd.
for the love of god.....rewatch the fight....it is on youtube....good clarity....i have seen it at least 4 or 5 times.......you will never convince me or anyone that actually knows how to score a fight that oscar won more than 4 rds..........
- 8-4 Mayweather
- 8-3-1 even Mayweather
- 9-3 Mayweather
Pick one of the 3 options above. These 3 are the only acceptable scores for the Mayweather vs ODLH fight. Seriously..............
ODLH vs PBF was not close at all............8 rds to 4 is generous to the golden boy.........
SSM v Cotto....i had 7rds to 5 in Cotto's favour........Shane gave away too many early rds and looked gassed right from the start.
anybody who thinks oscar vs floyd was closer than mosley vs cotto should just retire from watching boxing and be a full time floyd hater
the thread starter has an OBVIOUS agenda.
Try watching the fights instead of just looking at a scorecard. Btw, your thread failed loser!
your thread failed, get over it. Nobody thinks De La Hoya-Mayweather was close, and if they do, they didn't care to explain it in the thread.
th@t is his M-O...making thre@d @fter thre@d that f@ils.
The fact that Oscar and Mosley lost and wanted rematches show neither were clearly defeated. For a UD win you should beat your opponent so bad, that he wouldn't even think of asking for a rematch. You opponent should know he was beat... and know he has no chance.
At the end of both those fights...I had no idea who won. And after they announced the winners... I was hoping both Cotto and Mayweather would have the integrity to show they could do better.
If you didn't know who should of won the Floyd-Oscar fight before they announced it, maybe it's time to watch a different sport.

FACTS
Mosley vs Cotto: 116-113, 115-113 twice, all in favor of Miguel (UD)
Oscar vs Floyd: 115-113 for DLH; 116-112 & 115-113 for Duck (SD)

Cotto-Mosley was closer. Cotto faded late which made it closer. I scored Floyd/Oscar 8-4. Through 8 rounds I had it 4-4. Then DLH does what he always does, fade late in fights, which allowed lil floyd to take control.
