Message to Gus Johnson..........

Gus is the only member of the Showtime broadcasting that I don't like. He sounds like he should be doing NCAA Football or Basketball, it's just the kind of style he has. Other than that, I really like Farhood, Tarver, Bernstein, etc.

Is this the guy from Showtime who was also rimming Dirrell in the Froch fight? During? That's every single fight he ever broadcasts...

He does this with everyone and everything.

gus is a complete idiot ... but froch did get hurt at least once in that fight Yeah he was momentarily hurt or buzzed in the 10th but that guy made it out like he was gone.

Message to Gus Johnson..........stop being such a homer when you call fights. I like Johnson because of excitement and drama he brings but man! does he over do it with the ballhuggery. Probably it's only me... but I can't hate on a commentator who goes wild over a perfectly thrown jab to the face *loooooooooooool* those things are seen as an usual thing... Johnson brings the excitement for boxing fundamentals back... I wouldn't let dude commentate an Mayweather match though... to many text book boxing stuff in his matches... dude probably would caught a heart attack or something... That's all I got to say about that subject.

this is perfect, i hate gus johnson. when you watch him you can figure out a few things. such as which promoter has the best relationship with showtime? answer: Gary Shaw. what fighter from saturday belonged to shaw? the one gus was rooting for, antonio demarco. I can't stand to listen to this guy ride vic darchinyans nuts everytime he fights also. you would think him beating a shot 5 years over the hill jorge arce was greater than salvador sanchez beating wilfredo gomez in his prime.

oh, my bad, lol. Yeah, he was doing that alot but I just think that he was in shock like alot of fans were. I think he felt that win or lose, DeMarco would crank it up and start really fighting. Gus probably watched alot of DeMarco fights and knew that he could brawl and at the very least wasnt no pussy. However, he fought that way from the jump and stayed that way the whole damn fight. Shit was weird to me but I think it also may have had something to do with Valero being a southpaw and DeMarco's team the whole camp probably telling him not to trade, dont get caught, be cautious, get him into the later rounds, and all that other BS. Then by time they realized the shit didnt work, it was too late to turn it on because Valero was mad confident and had set the tone while now DeMarco was not confident at all and had taking alot of punishment Shadows asked me what i thought about Valero's power and i agreed it might off been a little overrated or De Marco just has a great chin, but i like you fully expected De Marco to get dragged into a war down the stretch and eventually get taken out that way, now maybe there is something in the fact that he decided not to do that despite knowing he was well behind in the fight, maybe! Valero's power was discouraging him from doing that? who knows..........
