moorer refused to listen atlas & he paid for it.he never listened to teddy & did the opposite of what atlas told.atlas told him to move away from the right away from foreman right & he'd move to the left...atlas told him to keep a fast pace instead he fought at georges pace...in the 10th a quick RIGHT it's all over.
IMO his knockout of michael moorer is one of my greatest moments in watching boxing.simply remarkable...I'd be willing to say one of the most unexpected & greatest moments in heavyweight boxing history.I got 18 of his first career fights & 28 of his second career.he really did his comeback the right way.he fought 24 times in 3.5 years to get his shot at Holyfield.he didn't ride off his past.great jab in his second career.I got Schulz, grimsley,Briggs& savarese fights to watch yet...atg for sure
Its sad that most people only remember Moorer for that ko loss to big george the man had a pretty damn good career, and i think if he would have stayed at lh or cruiser he would have been a dominate champiion.
I think moorer had a solid career.my worst memory was the tua fight.
well its a little late now lol michael moorer wouldve been destroyed by a Prime foreman easily but an Old Foreman landed one clean punch on him and dude went down..
at watching my foreman fights...I got about 45 of his fights.great career!
To this day my pops still laughs about that fight.
Moorer is an example of a young fool who had no respect for the seniors in the game. Probably thought 'his time was now'. He paid the price for that attitude.
