What are some fighters you don't like/admire but admit they are good fighters.
Amir Khan-
Not a fan of his but I do admit he has a bright future and is extremely talented and improved a lot under Roach. He is still young and he can make a big name for himself in the U.S even.
Kelly Pavlik-
Never was a fan, never will be a fan, you can say he is one dimensional without getting many arguments but you don't become the middleweight world champion for no reason/over night. He is not that bad although he has a few things he could improve on.
Go ahead...
dirrells/dawson/ward
the first two don't seem to enjoy fighting enough for me. i wouldn't be that surprised if dirrell won the rest of his fights in the tournament. dawson seemed untouchable in his last couple fights, regardless of who they were against. ward's a tough son of a bitch who just wants to win. you can say he only won because of a home town ref, but there won't be an asterisk on his record that says anything about it. and kessler didn't look so good before the headbutts/excessive holding either. with all due respect to kessler, it's not ward's fault he folded.
the one boxer I'm not that big of a fan of is Bernard Hopkins. I just really don't enjoy his fights. But hell, he's one of the greatest to ever lace up a pair of boxing gloves.
I agree, he has never been too exciting or too flashy in the ring and can be boring with his style but like you said, he's one of the greatest to ever lace up a pair of boxing gloves.

Speaking of Dirrell-Stevens, Andre Dirrell is another fighter I'm not a huge fan of whose talent I'll admit to. He has the potential to be a World Champion in a few years, but I think he holds way too much and could attack a bit more. Not to mention he was involved in a fight that was regarded as the most boring fight in history. It was so boring that Lou DiBella refused to put him on his cards again.
I agree with you, Andre Dirrell could be a world champion without a doubt. It puzzles me why he just don't let his hands go a bit more, he could have beaten Froch. He was much faster and had better movement and should have tagged Froch coming in at ease. If he lets his hands go and mixes it up more intelligently, he could be a p4p type fighter.

Now this doesn't mean I think that they are as good as they(or maybe moreso, their fans) think that they are but,
Fighters (in no particular order) that annoy me, but that I know are (or were) highline pros :
Joel Casamayor
Lennox Lewis
Carl Froch
Floyd Mayweather
Manny Pacquiao
Joe Calzaghe
Prime Roy Jones Jr.
Lucian Bute
Zab Judah
Juan Diaz
Acelito Freitas
Paul Malignaggi
IMO i would start with
Bernard Hopkins, I just think he holds too much he is way too dirty and he doesnt have an outstanding something ( i mean like power, speed, chin ) but the dude has some serious skills one of the greatest of our times.
Of course Floyd i think its the most skilled of our era but he just overdoes the "playing it safe " style too much for me to like.
Dirrell its another super talent that just doesnt have a great fan base because of his style.
The K brothers deserve a mention here too
Vitali Klitschko. I'd rather watch Andre Dirrell vs Curtis Stevens 20 times in a row than watch him, but I'll admit he's very talented. You don't win that many fights by KO if your a bum, especially when you have #1 ranked fighters on your resume.
I though his Arreola fight and all of his past fights were quite entertaining, it's not his fault his last opponent came in there to survive 12 rounds.

Another one would be Edwin "The Caveman" Valero, he proved in his last 2 fights he is a real force, not a fan but he is looking like he is going to have a bright future.
manny pacquiao.......he aint a good boxer imo.....but his body is a machine....great chin great power good speed....thats pretty much all you need in boxing.....i hate him for robbing my boy jmm so i will never be a fan.....
