Seriously, this guy thinks he's God's gift to boxing.
He's lost a bunch of times to fairly unknown fighters and been sparked COLD in the process. He looked flat out disgraceful against Funeka and clearly robbed the guy, spouting his mouth afterwards like he wasn't 4lbs overweight and had just won a decisive UD. He then flat up QUIT against Bradley after he was getting his ass whopped for a few rounds, while we see true warriors like Cotto going to the full twelve against monsters like Clottey.
I give him credit for the Diaz win, but at least Diaz fought onwards and didn't quit at the first sign of blood... and anyway... everyone knows as soon as you cut Diaz he's like a overfed duck, plodding around the ring.
That's not the worst part though. I could handle Nate if he went around and did his thing.... quietly. However, he talks and he talks a lot.
I hear him go on these rants and it's just not funny. It's some guy who thinks he's better than a Pacquiao-Mayweather tag team with Tyson as a substitute. He talks shit about everyone and puts his nose it when it's just. not. wanted.
Seriously Nate. Shut up, you make yourself out to be a fool and you need to concentrate on your performances in the ring - as lately they've been SHIT.
i enjoy watching his fights campbell was one of the few ppl to fight that beast ali funeka who not so many want to fight now.
want to see want he can do against victor
Flip about what? Love him or hate him, at least you guys are talking about him. In this business, once nobody talks about you anymore then you are done. Nate must still at least be relevant or people wouldn't take the time to create threads like this one. :-)
So keep it up, and thanks for making my job easier. lol
We just talked about Hamed yesterday,
is he relevant too?
Nate has made it difficult at times to be a fan. Much of it has been his own doing, and much of it has been circumstances.
He is in the twilight of his career and if he has to yell, scream and generally be an ass to try to get a good fight and payday, all the power to him.
I have seen interviews with him where he was an ass, but also ones where he was truly candid and painted a nice picture of what life is like for a fighter in a "Promoters World" . Sure he has gone bitter, but he was also railroaded more than enough.
I am not a big fan of his, but i always managed to watch him fight, so it makes me a bit of one. I have nothing against him, but I do want him to make a decent payday or two and then get out.
I hate everything about Nate Campbell. The whole bashing a guy for not making weight and then the very next fight he DOESN'T make weight really set me off. What's worse is he made a bull shit excuse. Then, crying like a baby after getting lit up by Bradley and QUITTING so it can be a NC was disgusting too. Not to forget the shit talking and the arrogance when he dropped his hands and got his shit knocked. He is by far my most hated boxer.
Yup. This is a reasonable post.
Does anybody remember when Campbell fought Isac Hlatshwayo on Friday Night Fights? They announced Hlatshwayo the winner and Campbell ran around the ring celebrating thinking they said his name or something lmao. Then they were like dude what are you doing you lost, and then he started crying about Hlatshwayo being too big for a lightweight (even though he made weight) and saying it wasn't fair.
Sh!t was hilarious.
Not to mention......
Typical Cambell nonsense.
It's not that he talks. It's that he whines and complains and tries to discredit others constantly. So. Bloody. Annoying.
