According to Victor Conte of BALCO who successfully beat the OLYMPIC STYLE BLOOD TESTS for YEARS, it takes at least a day for the cream or clear to taper off the system to avoid detection. Since its impractical to ask athletes to give blood every day up to the fight night, urine tests are perfect since it would be reasonable to expect a person to urinate at least twice a day.
