Hatton fought Kosta, Pac Malignagii, Mayweather and Collazo. Khan is set to fight JMM, Judah, Maidiana and Mayweather. Calzaghe fought Hopkins and Jones then retired calling himself a legend killer. How is Khan set to fight these guys? Hatton got to fight big names cause he was a big name, once Calzaghe left Warren (which he should of done years before) he had only just made a name for himself, he fought Jones and Hopkins... but at the end of the day he was 36, he wasn't getting any younger.

Idk bout the Khan statement, I really dnt think hell fight 3 of the names mentioned and hell likely lose to 2. I agree. Khan still has time though. Kessler and Lacy were good wins at the time but they weren't proved world class fighters and both failed the test for world class status. still he was a solid continental level fighter with good stam for his age.

Calzaghe. You and other people act as if Calzaghe was in his prime when he beat Jones and Hopkins. Why didn't they go to England if they really wanted a piece of him?? Why does it always have to be "come to the U.S.A"??? If Calzaghe didn't have a habit of fighting boxers ranked outside of the top ten and pulling out of fights with injuries when he was scheduled to fight someone decent, then Jones and Hopkins would've been more motivated to fight him. You can't sit there with a straight face and say Calzaghe's 21 title defenses are better than Hopkins' 20 title defenses even though Hopkins is a cherry picker now. Add Lennox Lewis and Nigel Benn to the list of British fighters that had more nuts than Joe did. Burner is spot on with this thread other than the fact that Khan hasn't done anything yet.
