i'm confused, is Mosley shot or not???

He's past his prime but not shot Shot is Jose Luis Castillo or Erik Morales etc Yup exactly

Mosely isn't shot. However,he's not as good now as say 5yrs ago. When floyd turns 39 he wont be as good as he was when he was 34/35. Then again,floyd wont be boxing anymore by then.

90% of people on NSB don't know what "shot" means. I'm starting to see that.

He is old and shot imo. But this is still a huge step up for Mayweather. Would have been better if they fought back in like 2004 So "old and shot" that Freddie Roach wanted no part of him for Pacquiao unless he drained himself to 142-143. If this is the best you can do, that is just sad.

Mosley is old PERIOD and has had ONE good fight against a cheater without his weapons. All Margarito has is a good chin without his wraps. Mosley hasn't looked good against a good boxer in years. He's not shot(Roy Jonesish) but this bout would have been alot more attractive 5 years ago when Mosley was trying to get it. Mosley is coming off a good win but that was over a year ago and when the Mayweather fight happens he will have been inactive almost a year and a half! Mosley is 38 and aside from a long career, you have to remember he had a very long amateur career too. So in many ways he is older than is age might say. Just a couple years ago he was struggling with Mayorga(same one Oscar Iced) and getting beat by Cotto. Then everybody was thinking he was slowing down! Well honestly he did not get younger since then. But hey who cares he isn't the fighter he was 10 years ago at least Mayweathers fightinng a welterweight!

I can't speak for some people's motives when, out of the clear blue sky they state, That Mosley is too old or Shot - But I will say this, that it wasn't too long ago when some were calling Mosley the best WW, especially since his destruction of Margarito. So, I do not know how someone can go from Bad Ass Top WW to Shot and Old all within 9 months ... but this is NSB, so, anything is possible. Mosley is still a very live opponent, in fact, The Roach stated not too long ago "That any fight between Pac and Mosley will have to be at a catchweight" so there must be some motivation or belief on his part and others, that Mosley is a very dangerous opponent. Some people like to play games, since they're not fans of Floyd. And any accomplishment Floyd achieves, even before it happens, is discredited in some way, shape or form. Like I've said before - I'm a fan of Mosley, Pacman and Mayweather and when they happen to enter the ring against each other ..... May the best man win. It depends on the outcome of the fight...of course. Just because we saw Mosley in argubly the best performance of his career in his last fight, doesnt mean he wont be shot if Floyd beats him.

Mosley is far from shot obviously from his performance against Marg. And I know he's been inactive but you don't get shot from not being active. he might be rusty. I will say he is obviously past prime but that doesn't matter to me. If Mayweather wins it is a great win on his resume and only dumbies will disagree.

SSM is past his best, but because of the fact that many people still dont rate PBF, many expect SSM still to have too much for Floyd
