It's been a long time for me since there's been a superfight where I didn't know for sure going in who would win. This is honestly probably the first for a lot of you guys since Trinidad-De La Hoya in 1999.
Aside from the "nuthuggers," we all knew who was going to win Mayweather-De La Hoya, Mayweather-Hatton, Pacquiao-Hatton, Mayweather-Marquez and Pacquiao-Cotto going in. Did anybody really give the losers of those fights a great shot? Of course people bet on them, but real boxing fans knew the deal.
I guess you could say Pacquia-Marquez II was a big fight that was a toss-up, but it wasn't a superfight by any stretch.
It's great that this fight has been made. As a Mayweather fan, I don't know for sure Floyd is going to win this one. I think he will because he is a better fighter and always has been, but Mosley is fast and doesn't lose his cool late in fights.
It's kind of a shame that fights like Vazquez-Marquez and Corrales-Castillo weren't superfights. For us boxing fans, they were, but nobody in the general public saw them. And they were toss-up fights that delivered and wow'd us.
Mosley is overrated at this stage of his career...hes not going to win and I can guarantee you that...he's gonna look old after the 4th round...shane's last fight was a victory over an exposed fighter who cares if he beat margarrito without the plasters? I'm going with mayweather 10 rounds to 3 or a late stoppage....
Mayweather-Mosley = Leonard-Hagler of our generation
ugh no. Those two in there prime would do some damage to our generations boxers. Especially hagler. Hagler was a monster. Extremely powerful, and had an outstanding reach for his height and weight.
I never thought it would be close. I bet if you look up any of my posts on the subject, I said Pacquiao would stop him late. That was my official prediction. I made a big fuss about Cotto being at a disadvantage with the weight, but I was picking Pacquiao either way. Most sensible people were. Sure, the PRs had to back their boy, but they weren't looking at it stylistically.
Nah man, the majority of the boxing world saw that fight as a toss up.
And I think most are far more sure of Floyd beating Shane than of Pac beating Cotto.
There is no doubt in my mind that Floyd easily handles Mosley. Shane will steal some rounds with activity/aggression, but he will lose a clear 8-4/9-3 type UD.
I give mosley very little chance against floyd. Mosley always has trouble with defensive boxers. heck he got out boxed by cotto just 3 fights ago. how much more against floyd?? He looked good against margarito because margarito sucks balls without his damn plaster. margarito has zero defense but with a granite chin. Shane was swinging like a wide man and couldn't miss. And shane doesn't have the footspeed and southpaw stance like pac. Pac has a better chance of giving floyd his 1st loss.
You already have 700k with LHtua...If you lose how can cover both bets..LOL
I'll have enough sir. I got money coming in from my wealthy e-friends.
Deal?
Finally, a superfight where we don't know who is going to win??? That fight is long gone. Pacquiao vs Mayweather, that is the superfight where we don't know who is going to win. Mosley is a good fighter and all, but Mayweather by UD.
Well Floyd did have that tune up with JMM LOL hehehe
and that same tune up went life and death with Pacquiao. Pretty sure he wobbled Manny pretty badly too lol
If mosely wins I'll post pics of my cock for you all the wank over.
Come on Mosely!!!
Posts like this are why boxing is in the shit shape it's in right now. Too much cock and not enough balls.
superfight we didnt know who was going to win?
last time i remember it was a clear toss up between cotto and pacquiao
oh wait pacquiao dominated so that does not count
i forgot how stupid of me

I don't think Mosley knows how to be in a bad fight. Maybe 2 in his entire career? That 2nd Forrest fight...ugh. But even the first fight with Winky was entertaining. That and the first Forrest fight were the most anybody ever ran over him and basically did whatever they wanted, and they were still pretty exciting because you knew Mosley's KO power could end it.
I watched Mosleys full career over the course of a couple of weeks a few months ago and ur spot on the guy is cant miss action no dull shit in there.
Gotta disagree tho i think i KNOW Floyd has it in the bag, i think Mosley is quite the underdog but yeah its a real fight, props to May for taking it and Good luck Shane i be rootin for u :boxing:
