He gets to fight a guy in his 40's that hasent fought in a year, instead of someone who presents an actual challenge.
I love Mosley, im a big fan, but he hasent fought in a year!
Ricky Hatton didn't have any advantages against Floyd...and he made a horrible mistake signing for the Pacquiao fight:lol1:
Floyd's always the favorite in his fights because he's never lost and he's shown very few real weaknesses...
I didnt say he doesnt pose a challenge, i respect floyd for finally stepping up. I just think floyd is almost like Ricky Hatton in where he gets his fights at the right place and the right time, always making sure he has all these advantages that add up for him immensely.

Who's fault is that?
Shane Mosley is a grown ass man. He had total control on who he wanted to fight in that time frame.
Its not like Floyd has fought in a long time either(Unless you consider Marquez a tough challenge)
I'm defending the legitimacy of the fight. It bothers me when people use a lay-off or age to detract from a fighter before they've even fought. If Mosley looks terrible in the fight (and I don't think he will) or even his last one then maybe they'd have a point but not before the fight takes place or is even signed. Mosley's the best in his division, this fight is legit.
Add in the fact Shane was just in a training camp for a potential fight with Berto...

Your a big fan of Mosley's and you don't think he poses a challenge???
So you think Floyd is THAT damn good eh?
even weebler is defending floyd :boxing:

Floyd is fraud and his record is padded. Look at this shitty list of all his opponents. Name ONE muthafuka on here that's on Shane's level. Shane is not "old" and he can beat the shit out of May.

Basically, dude aint fought nothing but garbage (other than Diego and "maybe" Oscar. Come on.
I’ll believe this when both opponents gloves are laced up and standing in opposite sides of the corner waiting for the bell to sound round 1.
I think boxing fans has been let down with this back and forth bickering of fights are/not being made.
Well there is some *'s, usually is with Floyd, but I don't think you can honestly take this away from him. This is a legit fight, and any boxing fan should look forward to it.

Mosley is the #1 WW and the champ at 147. He's not in his prime, but he's still a very good boxer and one of the best current boxers. Mayweather is not in his prime either... Money was a beast at 135.
How many times has Floyd fought in the last two years? How come you didn't say anything about Manny sparring with a 40 year old scrub?
I respect that floyd is finally stepping up.. but he always has his opponents at some kind of disadvantage. Shane hasent fought in a year, Marquez had to weigh 144 and floyd whatever he felt like.
YEP, he hasn't fought in a year and OF COURSE that is Floyd's fault.
this thread is wack bro and I like Shane too. He should have fought again after he beat Tony, simple as that.
