feel free to talk about this whole card, how the fighters matchup who you think will win etc..
and of course feel free to do a rd by rd in this thread when the fights start.
shumenov was mr telegraph man. campillo blocked virtually every single punch he threw. how can you score a round for a guy that didn't even land anything but on gloves when the other guy consistently landed flush punches while backing him up?
Well rounds 6 through 9 he certainly did that and did it big
but he wasn't backing him up most of the time in the rest of the rounds. i had two rounds, 3 or 5 and one of the last 3 rds, that i was iffy on and gave to Shumenov so changing those would make it a Campillo win
i do think you're overestimating how much Campillo actually landed aside from the middle rounds that i mentioned, he was simply inactive in alot of rounds. And i also probably did the same in regards to how many of Shumenov's headshots actually landed on Campillo.
Like i said, i'll prob re-watch it to pay attention to how much of what Shumenov landed was actually clean, i could see Campillo winning by a couple but a 117-111 score either way is way off
I agree that the overall impression of the fight Campillo seemed to take it but scoring each round there were quite a few where Shumenov would win the first 2 minutes and Campillo would come on at the end of the round, i'd score it for Shumenov for winning the majority of it.
The score i ended up with does suprise me. I'll probably re-watch it again sometime this weekend and see what i come up with a 2nd time.

first 2 minutes of each round? nahhh. maybe like the first minute of each round moving backwards only to plant and slap at campillos gloves.
campilllo saw EVERYTHING shumenov threw at him.

When i new it was copromoting KZ Promotions(Owner Shumenov) with Golden *** Promotions (De la Homo)
I knew Campillo should have to kill Shumenov to win... And i was no bad... Shame for boxing again...
DIsgusting shit....:wtf:
really?
GBP is shady as fck. they are responsible for just about ALL the obvious robberies in recent yrs.

*cough* crotch *cough*
i mean froch...
yea that was bad but this was even worse. with froch you could at least say he was coming forward and missing. shumenov was getting pushed back and missing. why did he win? maybe cause he made really loud noises while throwing his punches?
who's promoting shumenov?
he promotes himself. he setup this whole rematch. should have known. didn't he try to claim he won the first fight based on compubox numbers? did he even land 1 flush punch the entire fight? no! relinquish that belt you're a thief.
that was a textbook boxing lesson. once again the idiot who can't land any clean punches but just punches air and gloves wins.
*cough* crotch *cough*

I had this 116 to 112 for campillo. man shit like this makes me sick... i went into the fight supporting Shumenov but was amazed by just how good Campillo was which makes the decision so much more discusting to me.
Well, many observers thought Shumenov should have won the first fight.
So I suppose since each has now received a gift decision, they'll need to have a third fight.
That was disgraceful though Tunney. Campillo was BARELY hit clean at all.
So Campillo gets a close decision in Shumenov's home country Kazakhstan but not in the US. It has quickly turned into the country that deals out the worst decisions.
i gave Shumenov rds 1,2,3,5,10,11,12
Campillo rds 4,6,7,8,9
i had it 115-113 Shumenov, same as jerry rothWHAT???????????????????how in the ****ing blue hell did you have the 12th round for shumenov??!! dude he lost CLEARLY...he landed no clean effective punches in the 11th or 10th he did nothing but get tagged by clean shots. scoring is based on clean punching not activity and workrate.
