Is Martinez ducking Paul if he chooses to fight Pav for the 160 Title??

Fighting Pavlik for the title cannot be considered a duck move!!If Sergio beat him he's middleweight champ!!He's already fought the Punisher,rendering the Sergio is scared of the Punisher theory null & void!!Besides it would be even sweeter if the Punisher-Martinez is for the middleweight title,now wouldn't it??

Williams and his team ALREADY has offered Martinez the re-match and more cash then martinez would make vs. Pavlik. Williams ducks no man. If that's the case, I guess Martinez will be forcing Paul to get some more plastic surgery.

Pavlik/Williams is probably not going to happen anytime soon because Williams wants 50/50. Williams/Martinez II probably won't have happen because I don't think Williams is going to be vocal about fighting Martinez again. I think Martinez would make the clear adjustments and beat Williams. Pavlik/Martinez would be easier to make and negotiations wouldn't be a problem what so ever. One other point that hasn't been brought up. One of the judges in the PWill/Martinez fight gave it a score of 119-110, which if you watch the fight, it's obviously shady business. Martinez probably does not want to chance another paid off decision on the scorecards vs PWill. He's already been screwed over twice in one year. Not saying that it's PWill's fault, but would you run to fight the same fight, from the same promoter after that's happened. Trust me on this, Sergio is afraid of NO ONE. That's a fair assessment. That one scorecard was a sick joke. I could understand Sergio's attitude about a rematch because of that.

It is true that Martinez is trying to take less money to fight Pavlik than a rematch with Paul Williams. Why does everybody nitpick every little action that Paul Williams takes? At least he hasn't called out Chavez Jr. or Vanes like Martinez has. And if he did, he'd get ripped a new one for it. I'm not one making that specific claim, but I figured I'd correct the comparison anyway. It would be more accurate if first- Pavlik was in same weight division as Williams, and second- Pavlik was a far inferior fighter to Williams. Given that, I still wouldn't say he is ducking Williams. He has fought him before, and he can fight him again, after. As far as the criticism goes, Sergio is not claiming to be the best p4p fighter of all time. When a fighter props himself up to that level, then he will be held to that standard. Floyd calls himself the greatest of all time, and if he does not live up to that proclamation, he will be criticized.
