Am I the only one who thinks mosley needs a tuneup?

I disagree. Its not like he is fighting Pac or an active fighter. On fight night Floyd will have only had 1 fight in 2 and a half years and most say that was a sparring match against an inferior opponent. or you could say he's had only 2 fights in 3 years. Floyd is worst off to me than Mosley in that regard. Besides and I keep stressing this. He didnt fight Berto but its not like he's just been sitting out. Berto cancled at the very last second so he went through a full camp, had a ton of sparring, and basically did everything except fight Berto. Thats enough to keep him sharp. Like if JMM had cancled at the last second, Floyd wouldve still had that full camp, sparring, and wouldve been at that same sharp level. So just pretened that Mosley fought someone of lesser caliber and beat them. After his camp he wouldve killed any type of lesser fighter anyways so he's good to go man i didnt even consider that, green k being sent. :boxing:

yeah ia agree. he has been very incative, and it 38. a tune was def. in order, but to late now i guess.

No. He cant afford to lose anymore time. Either way it wouldnt matter... Mosley cant beat either one of them at this stage in his career. how do you know for sure? mosley got a new trainer (nazzim richardson), and his first fight w/ him was against marg. So who knows what mosley is capable of

I don't think he should wait any longer, dudes getting kinda ancient i read in a ring magazine (i think, maybe another boxing mag) that mosley wants to keep fighting for a while, and he doesnt think his age is a big factor.

its perfectly sensible for him to take a tune up however mayweathers only fight for the past, give or take, 3 years has been marquez who is a completely different fighter so they might both be rusty

Mosley? The man who lost to Cotto? who lost to Margarito?Who lost to Santos?Who lost to Foreman? Everyones beating each other,but no one has been able to beat Floyd Mayweather Jr Just playing Ts. Yeagh I would like to see Mosley fight a tuneup 1st he's been gone for a while.

Matthew Hatton would be a decent tune-up for Mosley.

No matter who mosley fights next (floyd or pac), i think shane needs a tuneup fight first. Shane has not fought in a year and i think his age and inactivity might come into play. if mosley/mayweather happens in may then shane should fight someone in late feburary, just to shake the cobwebs. any one agree w/ me???
